"Well, then show me what you got Mr. Tough Guy." Ryouichi laughed.

"Fine then!" Yoshi said, taking his brother's suggestion seriously.

He got to his feet and walked towards the ring. The Kitsune and Asukai fight from earlier had ended and now the ringmaster was looking for a few more volunteers. Yoshi offered to have a go and then a young, rowdy Kitsune offered to join in. The Kitsune looked like he was still a kid, maybe just having graduated from the Academy. His yukata looked very... well, Kitsune. He had a brown fur collar, his kimono was mangled and torn up at the edges. It also revealed his torso and orange beads hung around his neck. He had scuff marks all over him, as if he had been rough housing with the kin before or even during the festivities.

"Let's do this, yeah?" The boy laughed.

"Come on 'Haku!" A girl cheered. Yoshi guessed that they were related but most the Kitsune looked similar so he couldn't tell. He did recognize the twins behind him, well vaguely. Hakuguro or something for the boy and Anari for the girl? Yoshi couldn't remember but he did remember they both were immensely rowdy and boisterous.

"All right, boys, no chakra shenanigans." The ringmaster grumbled, looking at them both shiftily.

"Yes, sir." Yoshi nodded.

"Whatever!" The boy said. "Let's do this already!"

Yoshi felt confident. He probably stood a chance without the Kitsune's fox partner around to help him. The two sized each other up before taking their stances. The ringmaster gave them a once over before waving his hand down. Yoshi dashed towards the boy and raised his fist to hit him. He was feeling immensely confident that he could land a few attacks before the boy knew any better. However, the boy easily ducked and kicked Yoshi's square in the chest. He staggered back and looked at the boy dumbfounded for a moment as the young Kitsune readied himself for the next attack.

The boy was faster than Yoshi realized. He easily knocked him off his feet and all Yoshi knew was the was staring at the Kitsune one moment and then was seeing stars and lanterns the next. The Kitsune howled and hollered as the boy cheered and danced around, feeling victorious. Yoshi just sat up and looked at the boy, who's back was turned to him. The fight wasn't technically over and Yoshi knew that the boy probably didn't realize that right away. So he got to his feet in a quick motion and sped towards the boy. His friends yelled at him, trying to get his attention but it was too late.

When the boy turned around, he saw Yoshi quickly drop to the ground. He swept the Kitsune's feet, knocking him down and quickly raised a fist at him. The orange eyes below him were full of surprise as he stared at Yoshi. The ringmaster called the match and Yoshi got to his feet, feeling victorious. He helped the boy up, who rejected his help and went off the sulk to his friends. Yoshi looked at his brother and smiled. Ryouichi looked impressed and patted his brother's back as he approached him.

"Nice reflexes!" Ryouichi said.

"Well, years of training tend to do that." Yoshi laughed. "But having extra cash doesn't hurt either." He waved the ryo he received from the ringmaster and both the boys ran off to go find something to spend it on.
