October Prompts

Oh hell yea! This is so much better! I could get used to destinations like this! This is basically a whole theme park! Wow! I really never knew some circuses stayed in one place like this. 

Now I just need to find the freak show and all hopefully the thing will be there. I still don’t really know what it is I am looking for. He just said, once again: You will know it when you see it. Thanks Levi, really helpful. 

I look at his instructions again: 

1. Don’t get caught. Yadda yadda. 
2. The clowns will eat you. Well duh, thats what clowns do!
3. It is in the Freak Show - You will know it when you see it. Blugh… Levi really?
4. Only go after Midnight. Now that is a given. I know sneaking 101.
5. Do NOT Look It in the eyes. While I don’t know what It is, I assume it will try to eat me if I do. So I’ll just not look at anything in the eye and probably be ok there.

And that’s literally it. I hate when he writes instructions. They are never any help.

I wander around the tents some, trying to find the Freak Show tent. I do of course, it's not a city after all. Then I crouch behind some boxes to observe the people hanging around it. 

They just mill about. It doesn’t even look like they are on guard or anything. Well that doesn’t mean anything I guess. I watch some more before I feel a tap on my shoulder. 

I nearly jumped out of my skin, let me tell you, and it took every fiber in my being to not scream. 

 I slowly look behind me at who touched me. “Uh, Hey.” I squeak out. The tapper was a small and petite rainbow haired Lockette with floppy ears and sleeves that dragged the floor. 

“Whatcha doing?” He tilts his head looking me over. “You don’t belong here huh?” 

I freeze. “Oh Uh yea, of course I do. What do you mean? I was just chilling back here.”

He tilts his head to the other side. “Mmm, no you don’t. I think I would recognize you if you did. I’ve been stalking this place for a while now.” 

I blink. “You uh…” I look him over for real this time. “Oh, you don’t belong here either!” 

He jumps and covers my mouth since I did get a little excited there. “Shhh, you idiot,” He hisses, “I thought that was obvious.” 

I nodded to show I understood and was calm and he let my face go. “Ok, since that is now cleared up. Lets go get that thing Levi needs so we can get out of here.” 

I jerk back a bit. “What?? Who???” 

He sighs. “You heard me and Suki. I owe him a favor, come on. If you get caught we both die.” He goes off towards the freak show tent so I follow even more confused than before.
