October Prompts

 Celeste kicks back in her recliner and sets all her snacks down in a basket just in hand’s reach on the floor. “Oh yea! Today is going to be great! I am off duty today for the first time in years! Hell! Having an apprentice is great actually! I can finally work on my back log a little!” 

She wipes a tear from her eye and looks at it. “An actual tear of happiness! Woah~” She flicks it away and grabs up her remote. “Let’s see where I was at!” She turns on her game console and opens up her most recent game. 

She wanders around in it for a little while before realizing she had no idea where she was or what she was doing. She turns that game off and looks through her library to see what else she had before getting overwhelmed and just turning on some background music and staring at the screen. She takes a deep sigh and lays back to stare at the ceiling. “Damn, I guess not.”
