October Prompts

There is a knock at Dahlia Rose’s door. She looks up from her cauldron expectantly. Her guest was not known to knock, “Darling please.” 

Bright purple tentacles push open the door and her guest ducks to enter through it. “Your ward is very powerful my dear~ A hidden Cottage and the compulsion to knock?” the octopus aquarial says coming in fully. She moves towards Dahlia Rose and her cauldron. “I am quite impressed with the growth of your skills. You should be proud.” 

The Dextroluma woman blushes at the compliments. “Oh Pandora, ma’am, please! It is nothing to your’s! I learned from the best, of course~” 

Pandora hums with a gentle smile. “Of course~” She flicks her hand and a sigil glows into existence above her hand. She reaches in and pulls out a bag. “The promised Gift. Sea floor treasures. Powerful things here that will only just have seen the light of day for the first time.” She holds the bag out over the bubbling cauldron. 

Dahlia Rose clasps her hands, “Oh please! Do the honors please! I cannot wait to see what these do in this mixture!”

Pandora chuckles then dumps the contents in. They sink slowly in, the goo crawling up some of the larger items to pull it under. “May I?” She asks, holding a tentacle above the concoction. 

Dahlia Rose nods excitedly. “Please do!” 

 The older woman obliges and stirs the mixture with her tentacle until all the ingredients had dissolved into the greenish blue goo. “This will be very powerful. Look, it’s making my sigils glow.” She says showing off some of her other tentacles and how bright the shapes in them were glowing. “You have grown so much~” She says, her voice warm and full of pride. “While I miss your time with me, I am pleased to see all your progress since then.” 

Dahlia Rose blushes, “Madam Pandora, you flatter me too much. You were a wonderful instructor. I only work to make you proud.”
