October Prompts

Sandra bangs on the door. “Please, Dextro Lady! Hey please!” She sobs and then doubles over, choking and sputtering as more and more teeth poured from her mouth. “What did you do to me?!” She screams when the stream slowed again. She feebly slams her hand on the door again then collapses to the ground against it gasping for air.

The door opens and Dahlia Rose looks down at her. “Oh, did you like my gift?” She asks sweetly. “I was surprised when you accepted it so readily, but I am sure you were just excited for it. A Giver Doll can be kind of a handful but if treated right it is a lovely addition to the family.” She smiles down at Sandra as she goes into another coughing fit of teeth. “Oh but if you don’t, well. It curses you. Huh, I guess you really pissed it off huh?” 

“Please” Sandra sobs, grabbing for the Dextroluma’s feet. “Please make it stop. I’ll do anything please!” 

Dahlia moves out of reach. “I am sorry, but you forgave me. I have nothing more to do with this situation. This is all your doing. Perhaps you should consider how you treat others, hm?” She backs into the door and shuts it against Sandra’s pleading hands. 

Sandra’s chauffeur picks her up again. “I told you ma’am, you need to address the doll.” They set her in the back seat of the car and pushed a bowl towards her face to hopefully catch any teeth that sputtered up. 

Sandra groans. “I don’t know what that means! Why is this happening to me!” 

The driver passes back the doll. “I don’t know but please try to do something. I hate seeing you this distraught ma’am.” 

Sandra takes the doll and sits up. She smoothes its hair back down, and straightens its clothes.
