The Dreamcatchers / Night Watch

Over his life Auris had to make many connections with lions of all sorts of looks and personalities. First in his home, then as a guard of the Trinity Tree, finally as a member of the Night Watch in different districts. Auris easily makes acquaintances, but is slow to fully trust someone and form a long-lasting connection. Because he was burned by people he trusted, the one thing he values most in someone is honesty. Even harsh truth is better than deceit. Minor flaws and differences can be overcome, but if a relationship is built on lies it is bound to crumble easily.

Auris started to realise his dream by becoming a guard and the a member of the watch. He wants to protect the peace, make sure everyone obeys the law and eliminate crime so that lions can feel safe. However, being a mere constable is not the height of his aspirations. Sometimes he daydreams about becoming a captain of his own division or even the commander. It’s a great celebration where everyone cheers for him as a mayor adorns him with medals. In his fantasy he’s always taller and more muscular than he really is. Sometimes he even goes as far in it as portraying himself as a superhero. He flies around, a red cape billowing behind him and laser firing from his eyes. No criminal stands a chance against his justice.
