Although the Iksaltari Empire celebrates their pantheon widely, some people do believe in other spiritual traditions. Some practice one tradition in exclusion while others seek a path of coexistance.
On the island of Sa'an there is a practice of ghost-worship. Ghosts of both mortals and animals periodically have to be appeased in order to do things that might offend them (building where their homes were, discarding a favored item, etc.).
On Mar they worship the wind and the tides, and some on Ber practice a godless spirituality focused on inner strength and meditation. Some people are atheist and deny the existance of the gods entirely.
