Also written as Mare, the twin islands, as they're known, look like one was carved out of the other. Deget has a complex canal system and is known for its shipbuilding industry, but it’s been deforested and never gets any tourism anymore. On the other hand, Mar is mostly undeveloped jungle and produces a lot of fruit. They also have a pirate problem, and no one can get through the jungle well enough to find their bases.
Deget's governor is the guild master of the shipbuilding guild while Mar's is the elected mayor of their only sizable city.
