this girl is in way over her head.
clover grew up in post-collapse alfheim, which turned to more of a regular settlement as it integrated with the haven. the elves here live in relative isolation, as there’s always the issue of clashing lifespans with less long-lasting species. still, clover found herself somewhat bored. there was a vast, mysterious world out there to explore, so why isn’t anybody doing it?! and so, at the ripe age of 186, she set off into the wilderness.
the uncharted lands of the haven are difficult to navigate, but going off-road meant she met with some very interesting people. that was her new morivation - people! there were so many, from so many different places. she felt intrigued by those short-lived creatures, with their small ears and stocky postures. when she arrived to fogmere, she immediately knew what she wanted to do: open an inn!
however, turns out, nowadays you need a permit to do that kind of stuff. probably have a diploma of sorts. and a loan. and- why is this such a hassle?! clover’s smart, a charmer, and a massive people person, but she has no idea how to work her way through this! oh, if only her folks in alfheim had this thing called ‘wi-fi”. she could contact them as quickly as she does her new friends over here.
