Tatiane

a greater demon from the seventh circle of hell. she has one duty: to endlessly devour all those who have heartlessly exploited the lives of others. her mangled form houses a furnace in her gut, where any souls will scorch into ashes. she has a grand array of scribe demons and phoenixes, who she treats with an unexpected kindness. as jaded as she may be, as cruel as her punishments may be to the sinners, she refuses to be the embodiment of that which she is supposed to punish. at least, not to those who don’t deserve such treatment. her servants are many, and her chambers are consistently swarming with small, burnt skeletal beings. they are surprisingly nicely dressed - rumor has it, as she sits and eats, she finds the time to sew them little outfits.

even a living furnace has her desires. tatiane has a secret betrothed, who dwells in the third circle. the two are apart for most  of the time, but every few decades, one of them will rise from her seat and sprint across the circles to meet with her beloved. much to their servants’ dismay, that is.
