Carmella

the second child of the upstanding, yet infamous witch and baker, sienna murphy. the old woman felt quite bad for her son, for he must feel so lonely, being the only one of his kind. long banned from covens, and with nothing to lose, she decided to make him a younger sister.

though equally bubbly and sweet, carmella is much more responsible, and the social butterfly of the two. carmella has never been lonely, and has a way of making fast friends wherever she goes. even so, the isolation of fogmere, the hidden city, got to her moreso than most. though fogmere was peaceful, she knew that there was a vast world out there that wasn't. one she wanted to know more about. carmella went through a lot of ways of expressing this curiosity of the outside world, though never quite traveling to it. she studied maps, history, politics, all until realizing she could get into journalism. it was by pure chance, really, that she decided to go into the craft. nothing more than just a simple career day in high school, until stumbling upon the department at fogmere's university.

now, carmella can often be found traveling abroad, keeping blogs and writing articles on the outside world. though fogmere isn't entirely isolated from earth, there are stories that the human press often doesn't care for, and it is those stories that carmella wants to hear. she's inquisitive, and brave, but not quite brave enough to take down the glamor spell that makes her look human. animals glare her down enough as is... what if they find out she's made of pastry?
