Profile

Name: Drag Stitch

Series: Animals

Age: 12 (5 in the first story arc and 12 in the last)

Gender: Male (he/him/himself)

Species: Stitch Dragon

Favorite Food: Meat

Element: Dragon/Fire

Powers: Flight, fire-breathing, fire storm, etc (more to add later)

Catch Phrase: "Are you serious?!"

Likes: Solitude, meat, Feathertail, staying inside, silence, nature, mountains, and the night sky.

Dislikes: Annoying people (most of the cast), his father, social events, vegetables, pop music, machines, and nonsense.

Personality: Drag is very apathetic towards others, quick to anger, and outright unsociable at times (though in his defense, many of the people trying to interact with him are absolute weirdos). However, much of his behavior can be attributed to his isolated upbringing and general lack of interaction with others until his story line begins. At first, Drag is rather snarky, uninterested in adventuring or befriending the other characters, and finds himself bored with the small village he's been forced to move into. Drag eventually opens his heart a bit and becomes open to helping others and making friends, but remains unable to express himself at times. Despite being raised by a father who wanted Drag to become a wicked villain, Drag has no desire to do so himself and only really fights if he feels like he or someone else is in danger. Even after becoming more friendly, he still gets annoyed easily but is less angry about it.

Home: Animal Planet

History: Drag was born on Animal Planet and has three siblings: Dawn, Mist, and Frost. He and his siblings were raised by their father Stitch Dragon, a dragon known for being wicked and malicious. Sometime in between the second and third major story arcs, Latin researched the situation and determined that they couldn't let Drag and his siblings become like their father. At the start of the third story arc, Latin sends Sketches and Lightning to "rescue" Drag and his siblings, but conflict arises when SAC appears and causes all four of the dragon siblings to get split up. If that wasn't enough, Sketches and Lightning quickly find that Drag refuses to cooperate with them and doesn't want to leave his home, though they bring him to Miniman Town anyways where Kitty and Racket take interest in him. Throughout his story arc, Drag slowly becomes more open to exploring and socializing with others, but still remains reserved and quick to anger. He eventually comes to terms with the fact that he didn't have a great relationship with his father or his siblings, and tries to repair his relationships with the latter. He later helps Sketches and Lightning search for the Rainbow Chicks when they go missing.

Current-Bio: Drag currently lives in Miniman Town with his siblings, though he can sometimes be found with Feathertail or the Rainbow Chicks instead. He joins the main characters on their adventures less after the third story arc, but remains an important ally to them.

Meta-History: Drag was created when I was either 11 or 12, and is supposed to be the son of a creature my brother created called Stitch Dragon (which is also his species name). Despite having a similar round design to Eggy, they are not related at all and Eggy would not look like Drag at all if he hatched out of his shell (if anything, they possibly share their purple-orange colors from Spyro, although I don't think I knew who Spyro was when I created Eggy...). Drag was originally a major character starting in the third story arc of Animals, which was originally called the "Dragon/Drag Saga (I later just combined this story into the Rainbow Saga) and was a main member of the cast from that point on. Parts of his story were inspired by the second story line in the Warrior Cat series, as Drag is the son of someone who was a villain in-universe similarly to Brambleclaw(he also shares this with a character in The Guardians of  Ga'Hoole, another series I was obsessed with at the time of his creation). However, his story line is different enough from those books so it's really just a small source of inspiration (though his siblings' names still are similar to Brambleclaw's in Warriors). welp well for some reason when I started posting characters to Deviantart, I was especially embarrassed about Drag and his design so he's only had three appearances in my Deviantart gallery until this bio and all of them were group drawings. I did start to dislike his design at some point but it's hard to redesign him and his siblings because nothing would look right to me other than their current ones. I eventually downplayed his presence in the story after the third major story arc; he's still there but he's not as important. In theory he'd look more dragon-like when he gets older since he's very young, at least that's how I've always justified his design.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Sketches: Drag wasn't fond of Sketches at first, but eventually started to consider him to be his friend.

Lightning: Drag and Lightning rarely got along at first and tended to bicker a lot. Eventually the two became friends, but they still tend to get on each others nerves.

Kitty: Drag was originally annoyed when Kitty and Racket followed him around, but eventually began to consider the two to be his friends.

Racket: Drag was originally annoyed when Racket and Kitty followed him around, but eventually began to consider the two to be his friends.

Bloom: Drag gets annoyed be Bloom more often than not, but he still sees her as a friend.

Blossom: Drag gets along with Blossom better than her sister, but he still gets annoyed with her at times.

Dawn: Drag is closest to Dawn out of his siblings, but doesn't always understand her way of thinking.

Mist: Drag mostly gets along with his sister, but sometimes feels like she's hiding something from him.

Frost: Drag and his brother have the roughest relationship out of his siblings. The two do care about each other deep down, but are prone to fighting more often than not.

Feathertail: Drag considers Feathertail to be one of his closest friends. It's notable that she's the only person he never gets annoyed with.

Stormtail: Drag and Stormtail are friends.

Leaftail: Drag doesn't like Leaftail at first, but eventually respects him.

If I think of anything else I'll add it later.
