DIRECTORY:
► Assortment | characters that reside in nondescript or barely-built worlds that are aimed solely for pure science-fiction styles.
► Federation Capitol | full-up universe that is quite aware of its flaws, but refuses to progress as they had once done so long ago.
there is an overlying story about the universal government oppressing its many, many, many citizens, masked as a clean utopia.
► Space Dust | low on overlying story, high on interpersonal stories. there isn't much in the way of customs and development for this universe so far.
It's a huge huge huge universe that revolves around a corrupt government that looks like utopia from an outsider's perspective.
Travelling from planets, even in different galaxies, is feasible and considered 'usual business'. In most cases, whole galaxies (much less planets) slip through the cracks and become havens of illegalities or ridiculous FC-law loopholes that allow the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer.
A populated space station (Gambit's Strait) that holds a sleepy outpost for a long-gone government. The station is nowhere near mass civilization, but rather along a hunk of gateway nebulae, so there are often travelers coming to the Strait for a pit-stop.
Those that preside over 'the large hunk of orbiting debris' regulate the place to the best of their abilities-- and though the Strait isn't known for lawlessness and chaos (which is a feat in of itself), it's also not known for being welcoming and kind to those with the purest of hearts.
