I love seeing OCs based on angels and biblical figures, and I have a bunch of them, myself, so I wanted to see other people's interpretations of these figures and see how they're different from my own! I figured maybe other people would be curious, as well, so here I am making a thread. im not sure if this guy entirely counts? But he’s associated with the Devil, hence being a manticore-fox-pard thing, and is inspired by something in the bible, not exactly sure which bit though.

RabbitJaguar Thank you so much, I'm glad you like them! :D And haha tbh I'd say my current VN projects are not so much "biblical-inspired", but rather stories that happen to have some religion-inspired characters in their casts (the intensity of their influence can vary, ie. the story Harahel is from is very much its own thing and most of the characters are humans with no connection to biblical stories whatsoever, whereas the story Isabelle and Ismaël are from maybe plays a bit more with the Isaac/Ishmael parallels at times but isn't a direct retelling either-- I could ramble about these at length lmao), but I'm glad to know they caught your interest! <3

I wouldn't say he's based off of Uriel... at all... but rather just named after him instead. None of my angels, demons, etc. are biblically accurate.... at all really. They're simply my own take but I suppose there is some biblical influence. I doubt it shows too much which is fine, but yeah!!

I have a Raphael. While they do have some overlap with the Christian depiction,as he is the angel of messengers and does have a staff, they are overall pretty divorced from it. He is a terrible individual in my lore.

I have Ruth, who is a demon, sure, but she also happens to be partially based on Saint Olga of Kyiv, a saint who literally burned a city to the ground with doves and other birds, because those people, the Drevlians, killed her husband.
I also have this plague doctor bibically accurate angel hybrid who has some feautures of a cherubim. There's also Violet who is sort of a Moses figure, as she is supposed to lead the purple shapes (which are persecuted) to the safe lands of the Neutral kingdom, the only place where purple shapes aren't hunted for sport. And for some reason, BULVI THE TINY TANK had a "David and Goliath" moment, where she defeated someone much bigger than her. I think I had a few more, but they're not on Toyhouse yet, so... Yeah
