Day 10: Stitches
A week after the embarrassing incident, Shen Qingqiu refused to go outside and Gallastus would be the one who did outdoor house chores. Not that he mind but he couldn't stop giggling over the incident that at times he would chuckle quietly while doing his work. This made Shen Qingqiu question if Gallastus even had school or assignments that the young Warpa always answered no.
Gallastus did have assignments from his college but he often chose to finish them so he could have free time after including teasing Shen Qingqiu on a daily basis.
Gallastus was cleaning his own bedroom when he was cleaning his shelves which contained a rather large glass sculpture and his favourite Implying plush. He remembered a scene of a previous incident and began to cackle when he realised he did at the wrong time. The feather duster he was using to clean accidentally knocked off both the Impling plush and sculpture that both dropped on top of half his body. The worse incident had been avoided but his arm was severely wounded.
Within seconds, Shen Qingqiu arrived at his room in panic "Gala, what happened?!" He screamed.
He gasped and lost at words looking at Gallastus' open wound in disbelief. On the other hand, Gallastus had a calm expression on his face. "Relax, I can still patch this up!" He reassured Shen Qingqiu.
Shen Qingqiu turned his gaze towards the Impling plush and squinted. "Don't tell me that not only you hurt yourself, you also broke your own favourite plush?" Gallastus could only laugh awkwardly. Shen Qingqiu sighed and walked away for a few minutes before returning to him while carrying a kit box. Who knew that even with his clumsy personality Shen Qingqiu was actually good at this kind of thing. Shen Qingqiu carefully stitches Gallastus' wound until the wound is completely covered up in neat stitches. He later took a sewing kit and began to fix the cut part of the plush with a thread and needle. His stitching was carefully done so that in a glance it seemed that there were no cuts to begin with.
Gallastus thanked Shen Qingqiu later on. Shen Qingqiu knew he meant well but he was still done with the young adult clumsiness.
