Day 23: Disguise
Gallastus was in full attention to the news when he suddenly turned to Shen Qingqiu after hearing weird noises. Turned out Shen Qingqiu had irregular breathing upon knowing the person on the security camera.
"Dude!" Gallastus exclaimed "You alright there?!"
Shen Qingqiu realised Gallastus' worry and tried to calm himself down.
"That's him..." Shen Qingqiu spoke in a soft, trembling voice.
"Wait, who?" Gallastus asked.
Shen Qingqiu lifted his face and revealed his worry expression "That war paint, I knew him. That's the same marking on the mask...!"
Gallastus at loss of words. Is the creepy stranger also the one who led him out? But it doesn't make sense. The only question is why?
Yet another hot topic came out regarding the case. Gallastus accessed the page, read for a few minutes, and later turned to Shen Qingqiu.
"Bad news, brother..." Gallastus trembled as he showed his phone to Shen Qingqiu "According to the web, somehow no one here knew who this person was..."
If Gallastus looked horrible with his trembling, Shen Qingqiu was in total pale even for his light-colored grey skin.
"That's impossible, someone MUST have seen this person entering our neighbourhood!" Shen Qingqiu blurted out. Gallastus froze for a bit before he nodded "Indeed, but what if that's not his actual self?"

Gallastus raised his head "Here's the thing, what if this person entered this area with another appearance? It's possible to pass as another stranger..."
As if the situation worsened, they heard another news regarding a group of beaten up gangsters who were supposed to be strong in a dark alley. Local authorities questioned them with their condition only for them to have a surprising answer.
They met someone who threw dust at them and beat them up when they're temporarily blind.
The dust was speculated to have been made by crushed rocks.
If it's just another rock then the case would be closed.
The problem? It's a unique rock which is commonly found on Abrolis mashed into powder. The same light grey colored as the one previously on the mask before it was cleaned.
