Shen Qingqiu always felt bothered with the presence of Gallastus in his home whenever he's available, but this time he couldn't feel the sensation as Gallastus was in class for half a day. Feeling bored of being at home without anyone to tease and bother him, he decided to take a walk in yesterday's nearby park. As the Eyespore had been taken care of, he had no worries of encountering another dangerous creature along the way. On his way enjoying the view along with his noise cancelling headphones, he started vibing with the silence when he started wandering to the wrong path and accidentally entered a nearby forest.
He realised a little too late and ended up in the darker side of the forest. Initially panicked, he looked behind to see the way out by trailing any nearby light breaking through the dense canopies above. He did find a promising trail but the surrounding wasn't that friendly for a fragile soul like him.
His heartbeat rushed faster as he sped up his steps toward the light trail when he heard a rustling noise nearby.
"Wh-who's there?!" Shen Qingqiu shrieked in fear but no answer. With fear beginning to dominate his mind, he turned his gaze back to the road and realised a few stones randomly stuck on the road as if telling him the way out. Confused but happy, he was finally out of the forest.
Upon arriving at the same park Shen Qingqiu let out a happy sigh now that he's finally out. The question remained, are the stones on the path a coincidence or there really was someone or something helping him?
Instead of feeling curious further, the thought itself spooked him out and he chose to rush home.
Gallastus went home late past 6 and saw the pathetic adult laying on the couch. Too confused to laugh, Gallastus decided to ask what's wrong.
Shen Qingqiu decided to tell him everything.
Gallastus' reaction confirms his doubt, someone did try to help him.
