Day 16: Zombie
After a few days without contact nor clues regarding the owner of the mask Shen Qingqiu decided to just forget the mask for a while and prefer to relax for a while. He later asked Gallastus to watch a movie with him and let him choose the movie as he needed a distraction. Gallastus understood and proceeded to choose a movie randomly and ended up grabbing a zombie movie.
The two watched the movie for the first few minutes and the zombie scene came out rather early. The two ended up sitting at the edge of the sofa watching the suspense of the story. Not soon after, Shen Qingqiu felt sleepy and decided to close his eyes for a bit.
He was later woken up by Gallastus' voice who kept on screaming zombies. Shen Qingqiu was about to shish him down when he stared at a nearby window that something green and rotted peek in their house windows. He would prefer to see them in the movie they're watching right now but not outside!
He's wide awake now and proceeded to grab a nearby thick fauchard and gestured to Gallastus to do the same which he swiftly grabbed a sturdy golf stick. Galactus’ Face was more confused as Shen Qingqiu had fear written on his face.
He carefully approached the door while he firmly held the stick when Gallastus finally realised the situation. Right before Shen Qingqiu slammed the door open, Gallastus managed to stop his hand while staring at the shuddering adult. "Dude, I just realised, they're not real..."
"Wait, what?" Shen Qingqiu was puzzled.
Gallastus nodded "Speaking of Halloween, I believe they're here for trick and treating!"
"Trick or treat, kiddo!"
"I stand my ground!"
Gallastus turned to the door and casually opened it. The moment the door was wide open, a group of young kids wearing zombie costumes were standing in front of the door holding big bags.
In unison the children who were actually wearing cheap-looking zombie costumes lifted their bags whole grinning "Trick or Treat!"
Gallastus ended up laughing while Shen Qingqiu tried to calm himself down while he turned the movie off. Never again.
