Traumatised by zombies, Shen Qingqiu prefers not to see any by the next few days. Gallastus was in the same boat but not as traumatised as the sad-looking adult in front of him. Gallastus was cleaning his room when he stared at the neighbour's house decoration when an idea struck him. He hurriedly rushed towards Shen Qingqiu who was baking cookies and stopped right next to him.
"So how about we go through the neighbourhood in costumes? I'll pick the costumes for both of us!" Gallastus proposed as a reason to have Shen Qingqiu taking some fresh air. Shen Qingqiu didn't mind as he needed a distraction as well, maybe Gallastus could help him calm down. Gallastus went to his room and grabbed a few pieces of cloth and scattered them on the nearest biggest counter table. Upon seeing the costume Gallastus meant, Shen Qingqiu furrowed his eyebrows.
"You want me to wear this?" Shen Qingqiu asked.
"I mean you wouldn't fit the other costume..." Gallastus replied.
"I wouldn't embarrass myself wearing this outside."
"Apparently this is the month of Halloween, everyone's gonna wear a costume!" Gallastus persisted. "At least you can cover your face so that you can spare the shame..."
Shen Qingqiu stared at his costume for the longest time, the costume does have a sort of veil cover. Knew that his costume did have face coverage so he ended up wearing it outside. Many other Warpas are wearing various costumes. Gallastus was wearing a giant raven costume with his arms covered by the giant raven wings. Many Warpas saw Gallastus in his costume. Most of them didn't know his actual age with how the young Warpa played with his wings. With the realistic feathers attached and furred helmet with sturdy beak, Gallastus flew around and amazed other costume wearers.
He flapped his hands happily while Shen Qingqiu followed him from behind. His costume?
A Scarecrow.
