After being yelled at, instead of realising his mistakes, Gallastus wheezed and apologised while cackling. "I do feel bad to make you run around your house but the look on your face when looking at each eye is really hilarious, I should have taken my camera!" Gallastus kept on going with his words but the more he talked the more modes covered by his chuckle to the point he could no longer talk and laugh instead.
Shen Qingqiu was too tired and just let out a sigh in ignorance before he walked back to the kitchen. What was waiting in his kitchen was something even more surprising than googly eyes.
Shen Qingqiu kept on staring at a mysterious candy-like bag on the kitchen island counter and he decided to approach it. He stared for the longest time before picking it up and bringing it to Gallastus. "Gala, what is this supposed to mean?" Shen Qingqiu asked while lifting the bag with one hand, the other hand on waist, while giving him a tired, confused look. "That's candies!" Gallastus innocently answered.
"Why is it here in my kitchen?"
"Figured you'll like it, since you rarely have anything interesting in your possession."
It took Shen Qingqiu a strong amount of effort not to fling the candy bag to Gallastus but he had been taking care of his house when he passed out in bed so he decided to bury the impulse.
Gallastus continued "Since you seem like never actually enjoying Halloween I figured to give you the sensation of joining. Go on, try to open the bag!"
Shen Qingqiu could only give him a silent and vague nod before opening the bag.
Felt like little kids who went trick and treating, the whole bag was filled with various types of candies. Shen Qingqiu could only stare in full confusion before lifting his head back to look at Gallastus.
