Shen Qingqiu still felt the chill of yesterday's event. Did someone try to help him? Even if someone did, why did it discreetly instead of appearing in front of him and directly helped him out? His mind went to the worst scenario. What if the said person may not be actually alive? Or somewhat creepy?
The thought haunted him that it distracted him when he's cooking that Gallastus smelt the smoke from the kitchen and had to rush towards him. "Bruh, what happened to you this time?!" Gallastus grabbed the wooden spoon on Shen Qingqiu's hand and stirred the food properly. Shen Qingqiu on the other hand still looked distracted with something that Gallastus knew must be related with yesterday's event.
Gallastus set down the spoon and turned the stove off as he turned his direction towards the troubled adult.
"Tell me, does yesterday's event still bother you?" Gallastus asked. Shen Qingqiu could only answer with a nod.
As Shen Qingqiu chose to rest his mind at home, Gallastus decided to investigate the case himself. He went to the park towards the forest entry. Unfortunately there were no magical and mysterious signs if he's the one who came to visit. Maybe it's a one-time occurrence, he thought. Unknowingly to Gallastus, Shen Qingqiu knew of his disappearance and decided to chase after him.
As if controlled by fate, Shen Qingqiu took a different route as Gallastus and ended up on the different entrance.
He didn't find another weird stone occurrence but another strange item caught his eyes. He turned his gaze towards the said bright object.
A glossy black mask with six colours accents decorating the mask with six holes. The mask looked like it belonged to someone until they dropped it. The next thing which made Shen Qingqiu shudder was not the fact that it's still clean but it was covered with the dust of the same stones which directed his way out yesterday.
The mask belongs to the person who helped him!
