Choose an individual and give them a pokemon type (one or two types); and explain why.

POTD 5/14/2021 - Virva

You might expect Virva, with her green fur and birthplace beneath the tree of the life goddess's branches, to be a Grass-type if she were to be classified as a Pokemon.
You would, of course, be wrong, but who could blame you for that assumption, really?
But no. Her type would be quite the opposite, actually. Look elsewhere - It's not the cool, calming greens of her fur that gives her her type.
So, what, then? The white streaks in her coat, like Ice or Flying? She might like Flying, actually, with her adventurous spirit, but not quite. Or perhaps the green of her fur is more of a seafoam... Water, then? To sail the seas, truly a life of adventure... but no, she had said herself, to a cat from the seaside no less, that the salt water seemed more trouble than it was worth. Then perhaps it's the way her fur seems to wave in wisps, as though she weren't solid at all, but merely a phantom? Some might think Ghost fitting of her, especially with her health problems... she was quite sure her family must think she has two paws in the grave already, with the way they treat her. But no, not Ghost, either. There's something else. Look closer.
It's the oranges of her paws, burning as they carry her at full sprint to her future, to parts unknown. The oranges of her eyes, glowing like embers, ever reflecting the blaze that slew the goddess and freed her from her old life, as much as she could realistically escape her past. A blazing passion for the worlds and all they hold, all that there is to discover, all the stories they have to share. Fragile in a way, still, that's true - Just as the earth and seas can smother a flame, so too does Virva have her own weaknesses, though she may be loath to admit it. But there's a power there, one which cannot be denied, if only it's given the room to breathe and grow.
   A Fire-type, through and through.
