Species Traits


Minor passive bonuses Naturals and Resonators get based on their species. Naturals get the full bonus, resonators get half. Unless otherwise specified, these do not cost rhythm and are constantly applied.

Canines
Canid sense - Through increased hearing, the resonator has an innate sense of their target's position in battle, increasing the accuracy of their attacks.

Felines
Felid step - 50% bonus to speed

Avians
Blessed wings - Utilizing their own rhythm, the user can fly. Additionally they can carry other maestros and resonators using the passenger's rhythm to pay for the rhythm cost to stay airborne as long as physical touch is maintained. As a demerit, the user's rhythm based defense is half as effective.

Colubrids
Ectothermic - Bonus to speed and attack power while under sunlight/heat. Lowers speed and attack under snow/cold (demerit)

Boas (Crushing Attribute only)
New World Constrictor - Advanced spells can be cast with an additional "Tenuto" modifier to bind the target dealing additional crushing and elemental damage for the duration of the spell.

Elapids
Neurotoxic Rhythm - Attack spells cast have a chance to inflict numb on the target.

Pythons 
Old World Constrictor - Basic spells can be cast with an additional "Tenuto" modifier to bind the target dealing additional elemental damage for the duration of the spell.

Viperids (Piercing Attribute only)
Hemotoxic Rhythm - Attack spells cast have a chance to inflict poison on the target

Winged Dragons
Sky sage's familiars- Utilizing their own rhythm, the user can fly. Additionally they can carry other maestros and resonators using the passenger's rhythm to pay for the rhythm cost to stay airborne as long as physical touch is maintained.

Grounded Dragons
Land sage's familiars - ad-Libs cost 50% less to use

Sea Dragons
Sea sage's familiars  - Grants Bolla D'acqua despite the element of the resonator for no rhythm

Otters
Fisher of the Sea - 100% bonus to speed (in water only). Bolla D'acqua costs a quarter of the rhythm to use (If applicable)

Koalas (Nature element only)
Curse of the Eucalyptus tree - Adds high chance to poison to all attacks 50% cut to attack and speed

Kangaroos (Crushing attribute only)
Rhythm boxing - Special variation of Crushing attribute that channels spells around the user's limbs as desired. Bonus to attack power. Unable to cast attacks in standard crushing style (demerit)

Pangolin (Shielding attribute only)
Armor Master - When in battle, gains armor of their element. Shielding spells cost 50% less to cast. Unable to use ad-Lib of their element (demerit)

Cervidae
Cervid step - 50% bonus to speed, unaffected by terrain. More susceptible to mental debuffs (demerit)

Axolotl (Healing attribute only)
Prayer to Xochimilco - Healing spells cost 50% less to cast. Healing spells are 50% more effective. Natural healing is 50% faster. Attack spells are 50% weaker and cost 50% more to cast

Gliders
Mischief of the cold winds - Increased jump height, Slow fall, and gliding at the cost of rhythm. Rhythm cost is lessened at night, increased during the day

Ailuridae (Fire element only)
Trailblazer of the forest - while grounded or climbing, Icarus Ala' costs no rhythm to keep active.

Linsangs
Lithe form - Nimble and flexible body increases evasive abilities. Immune to numb

Ursidae (Crushing attribute only)
Rigid form - Bulky body increases physical defenses and endurance. Minor attack boost, minor speed drop (demerit)

Mephitidae (Nature element only)
Noxious aura - Close range causes concentration debuff on non-Nature targets

Racoons (Null element only)
Dexterous wit - Can use advanced element spells, however power output is limited to 25% of what a pure element would be able to.

Didelphimorphia
Playing Tacet - Rhythm cannot sensed. Works on Scherzando, Tuners, and Rhythm masters.

Wombats (Earth element only)
Earth Parter - Grants Parte la Terra for no rhythm.

Murinae (Null attribute only)
Rhythm Piper - Cast spells are channeled into small bodies of energy that the user can release. The energy can be controlled by the user to follow a target, remain stationary or move randomly.

Horses (Null attribute only)
Wild Hunt - User can cast large, equine shaped bodies of rhythm. Size, number of bodies, and duration vary based on user's overall rhythm potential. As a demerit, the user takes bonus damage regardless of enemy attribute

Chinchillinae
Ash Bath of Cascata - Physical contact knocks loose volcanic ash, dropping the opponent's accuracy. As a demerit, the user is also weak to water-spells regardless of their normal elemental weakness

Chrioptera
Echoing Wings - Can fly at the cost of rhythm, cannot carry others. Through echo-location the resonator has an innate sense of their surroundings as well as others. Regular eye-sight is weak; Weak to sound-based attacks regardless of element (demerit)
