Maestro Affairs Offices

55212010_Qfw7jXSu2qpGAOy.pngThe Maestro Affairs Office (or MA for short) are standardized buildings found all over Riterra. They are funded and run by the central Riterran government. The facilities are quite large and host a variety of services for Maestros and their assigned resonators. Stray resonators, Naturals, and non-maestro humans are barred from utilizing the services below.

Administrative Office

  • Processing local payments of Scherzando hunts
    • This is done automatically; the local office is just responsible for processing payments to the tuners on the back end
    • Large Scherzando hunts take longer to process (typically 4-7 days)
      • This is usually to allow for competing claims to be filed, though this is extraordinarily rare
  • Registering Maestros and Resonators in the government database
  • Linking Resonators to tuners
    • In the event of a lost resonator, a local office can scan chips to locate the maestro
  • Installing chips to facilitate Tuner-Resonator communication
  • Raid registration
    • Note:  Registrations can happen on-site at the raid location in question
      • Hunters usually don't pre-register
      • Vendors will pre-register at the office itself, so they have less to do when arriving onsite.

Medical Wing

  • Resonator health and wellness checkups
  • Resonator Intensive care unit
    • Viva Units (Sometimes abbreviated to VUs
      • Can heal resonators from near death
      • Expensive to use, last resort emergency usage only
      • Ineffective on Maestros or Naturals
    • Can take Maestros in extreme emergencies or remote locations

Living Quarters

  • Small hotel like area
    • Room count is variable (the smallest MA Offices have ten bedrooms. Larger facilities can have upwards of a hundred rooms)
      • Large cities will have multiple MA offices to serve all of the maestros traveling about
    • Only available for active raiders and battlers with registered tournament records.
      • Registration is required, usually done upon obtaining one's first resonator.
  • Fitness centers
    • Usually more focused on physical wellness than combat focus
  • Common areas
    • Within the living quarters, usually has a couple of vending machines, an ice machine for the maestros
    • Computer terminals for video calls or general web browsing
      • Mostly will find resonators here using the web

Other Facilities (in larger MA offices usually in major metropolitan areas)

  • Cafeteria
    • Standard builds usually have the cafeteria attached to the Firing range facility
      • Food options can range from fresh cooking to food bars, depending on the individual facilities
  • Firing range for combat training/Practice
    • Some offices may contain obstacle courses and other such training equipment with a battle focus
  • Pools and swimming facilities
    • Usually found in towns/cities which expect to have a high water-element count
  • Battlefields
