Name: Helgrinel’das
Alias: Helgin
Gender: Male, He/Him
Orientation: Monogamous, Pansexual, Romantic relationship/married to Hyth
Title: Black Dragon of the Night, Justice and The Hunt. Watchman and Protector of the Universe
Created: StarRobbers, StarShooters
Patron of: StarRobbers
Elements: Cosmos
Constellation Association: Space
Main temple location: Shrine of the Seven Stars
Secondary (major) temple locations: The Gravewastes
Preferred offerings:
★Food - Specifically sweets
•It’s said Helgin can’t handle the heat of spice and turns his nose up  to bitter and sour. It’s ironic, someone who is surrounded by death has  the biggest sweet tooth known to man.
★Art - Common offering from children
•While not the deity known to give creativity, children of those who  worship Helgin are told to show their talents to the god, as it pleases  him… however, those who don’t, and think poorly of the creator of  StarRobbers tend to tell children it’s the only way to ease his wrath.  Drawing pictures to stay out of trouble definitely nets StarDragon  parents some peace and quiet here and there.
★Death - No ritualistic sacrifices!
•Preferably the skeletal remains of animals over StarDragon’s remains.  This doesn’t stop some from practicing such things however. A number of  altars dedicated to Helgin may have unfortunately tasted the blood of a  StarDragon, or a dull life gem. More see the blood of local fauna, but  to take a creature’s life before its time is offensive to his wife.  Religious interpretation gets skewed occasionally, it will vary from  person to person, church to temple.
Personality: A man with a  temper that’s hard to flare, but when it burns, it’s an inferno that’s  hard to put out. Helgin has and will keep grudges, and only lets go of  then when he feels it’s been properly dealt with. Given what he is known  for, the man prefers justice for any slight. Helgin is not unfair  though, and gives a just punishment for crimes committed.

When not playing judge, jury, and executioner, Helgin is a fan of  creativity, and gets a little too excited over other’s talents. He would  be the one, without a doubt, to tack everyone’s creations to the  fridge, and then purchase another fridge when the prior one was filled,  simply to have more space.
Religious Faith Leader Title: Watchmen
StarRobber Method of Prayer:  Prayer is done at sundown, and sunrise. This is considered a goodnight  to Hyth when the sun goes down, and welcoming Helgin to watch over the  night. And in reverse, wishing Helgin rest as the sun rises and the  night fades to day. For the Watchmen, the religious faith leaders, they  will light a candle (Or a fire to be seen from a temple for all to see)  at dusk until the first stars show in the sky, and another at dawn until  every star fades.

Considering the reputation Helgin has received due to the once monstrous  ways of the Robbers, faith leaders who worship him tend to get a little  wordy, not simply to speak of how great and mighty their God is, but to  remind those whose views have been soured by the past, of the good  Helgin has done. Additionally, Robbers who worship under Helgin do not  lament over the loss of their former lives, but embrace their new lives  and give thanks to the second chance.
Main Organizations:
Templars of the Darkest Night: An order  of holy warriors who, unlike their light-bound brethren, actually focus  their talents on shadow magic. Despite their sometimes foreboding  aesthetic, the Templars of the Darkest Night are just as dedicated to  goodness and order as Hylcinth’s paladin order. However their order  tends to be more dedicated to the law and justice over aid and  compassion… as the Templars are called in for more battle and righting  wrongs over simple defense and aid missions.
The Boglights: A coven of witches who  reside in the various swamps of Jo’Arca. Many of them seek out and offer  aid to wandering robbers and travelers, though there are many witches  who simply claim to be part of the organization as a means to engage in  more nefarious purposes and lure travelers into traps.
Guardians of the Gravewastes: An order  of StarSweepers who patrol the Gravewastes and work on perhaps one day  restoring the lands to their former glory.  In the meantime, they  research the wastes and work alongside the severblight research station  in the hope of finding a solution to the severblight plague.  It is said  they maintain the abandoned temple of Helgin located deep within the  forsaken grounds.
Common Sayings:
“May Helgin raise you.” - Could be an insult or a compliment depending on who you’re talking to
“By Helgin’s fifth arm.” - Disbelief
“May the night watch over you.” - Farewell
“Helgin’s a bitch.” - ‘Karma’s a bitch’
“May Helgin set things right.” - Comfort to those who’ve been wronged.
Common Practices: Followers of  Helgin always travel with a small tin of sweets, and it is common  courtesy to offer them to those they meet. It is also common practice  for followers of Helgin to hang pictures in the house of loved ones who  passed away along with a dried, pressed flower in the frame.
Provided Blessings:
★Generally called upon before a big hunt, in hopes of bringing in a good catch.
★If someone has been done a disservice, be it criminal or simply  something that displeased someone, StarDragons may hope Helgin takes it  justice on them… basically looking for bad karma to find them.
★A plethora of blessings involving getting revenge, justice, and things similar.
★A frequent prayer that often amuses Helgin, but some ask for stamina in  the bedroom, as Helgin is known for his sexual appetite and the  blessings he’s brought in those regards.
