Preferred offerings:
★Crafted Goods - No Specific Preference
•Raziel considers the ground and that which comes from it his gift, and nothing pleases him than to see what stardragons make from it. Be it pottery, artwork, sculpted gems, little origami stars. Offerings that are simply purchased are said to offend the God.
★Grand Tales - The bigger the better
•An uncommon offering compared to the rest of the Pantheon, but speaking your deeds and accomplishments to the shrine of Raziel is to many considered a form of offering. Many of the roadside shrines to Raziel contain a small bench for followers to sit and speak of their travels and the obstacles they have overcame.
★Spirits/Alcohol - No Specific Preference
•It is considered good fortune to leave a small bottle of spirits at the shrine of Raziel. In some instances, the temples and shrines of Raziel will often act as an alcoholic “take a penny/leave a penny” in that travelers will exchange what bottle they are carrying for another.
★Food - Homemade
•Food offerings to Raziel tend to consist of simple fare but family recipes passed down from generation to generation. As a god of hospitality, many followers of Raziel believe that one should never offer food to a guest that they would not offer to their God.
Personality: An energetic God with a larger than life personality, Raziel tends to tackle every task with enthusiasm and intense passion. This can both be a boon and a bane as it tends to make him reckless and stubborn thus prone to flying headlong into whatever has captured his burning passion. This also tends to lead to him being being over dramatic and fiercely competitive, especially in matters concerning his sister Lenus. That said, Raziel is an honorable sort and believes in fairness even if it comes at the cost of him losing. He loathes cheating, which is perhaps one of the few things he and Lenus agree upon.
Raziel’s temper burns fast and hot...but cools quickly, making him fast to forgive transgressions. He tends to be hospitable, generous and kind with a desire to inspire others to do their best. He’s not generally one to enjoy sitting idle, preferring to take action and do things over wasting time making plans..
Religious Faith Leader Title: Flame Bearer, Sacred Gaffer, Voice of the Mountain
StarDragon Method of Prayer: While the three races often disagree over temple aesthetics or common practices, the manner in which one offers prayers to Raziel is the same: you send him letters. Be it a daily prayer or one that you ask in a time of need, the manner of prayer is to write down your prayers before burning them in a fire so that the smoke may reach Raziel. As such, many priests of Raziel’s temple are also scribes who offer their service of writing down prayers to those who are illiterate and cannot do so themselves. Those who have access to neither fire or writing tools will voice their prayers, or simply write small prayers in the dirt or sand before wiping them away. .
Main Organizations:
★The Hospitalitors: Originally founded by sweepers, this organization is one part warriors and one part adoption agency. They are often the ones to take in those who have lost family to raids or disaster, and usually are at the head of most orphanages and foster care.
★The Triumvirate of Fire: An organization designed for fair competition and to test the physical limits and prowess of athletes. Originally a contest held between dashers and sweepers, it has over time opened up to allow members of any race to compete. The competition occurs once every three years.
★The BrewMasters: An organization founded on the belief that Raziel blessed the world with the secrets to making alcohol as a means to better one’s feasts and merriment. As such, this organization takes their brewing and creation of spirits as a divine duty. While there are members who are not as religious in their craft, it is considered a mark of pride to be given the BrewMasters seal of quality.

Common Practices:
Followers of Raziel often burn his symbol above their door frame as a sign of hospitality and welcoming. As such, most inns (regardless of if they follow Raziel or not) will incorporate his symbol into their building or sign. Since the preferred method of prayer involves burning letters, it is quite common for followers or Raziel to always keep stationary with them on their travels including envelopes that have been pressed with aromatic herbs to smell nicely when lit aflame. It is also a common practice for those who travel to carry a bottle of wine or other alcoholic beverage with them to offer to new friends or a kind host as thanks for their hospitality.
Provided Blessings:
★Often called upon in sports and competitions, to help promote fairness and bolster those involved to perform their best.
★Many invoke Raziel’s name to ask for courage and strength.
★It is fairly common to praise Raziel while feasting in the hopes he will bless the bounty until the next time of plenty. As a secondary thing, many have also taken to the practice of offering a similar prayer to ask for Raziel’s blessing before imbibing in spirits to hopefully avoid a hangover.
★Travelers often ask for Raziel’s blessing so that the places they go will be welcoming and kind.
