Step 1: Read
Ptitheros is jam-packed with lore and stories. To create a character that fits within the world you're going to have to set aside a little bit of time to read about it. But don't worry, if you're just getting started you can ignore a lot of the heavy history and ecology stuff.

Useful Information
- Ptithians can have names ranging from purely fantasy, some sci-fi names, and normal names. They can be named after places, animals, and words on Earth, however those names will not have an actual meaning behind them since Earth is not part of the Ptitheros universe. Name generators can also be found here based on the culture the Ptithian is from.
- All gender identities are accepted in Ptitheros. There has never been problems regarding gender identity across Ptitheros, gender has no baring on a character's story within Ptitheros except a few select royalty occupations. Adding pronouns is recommended. All orientations are also accepted. Having a non-hetero character does not disqualify them from obtaining children during breeding events.
- Age has two types. Physical age and mental age. Ptitheros creatures have much longer lifespans than humans, with varying maturation between species. Physical age is the amount of solar years the Ptithian has lived, whereas mental age is what age they have life experience in in terms of human years. The current year is 2830 C.A.
- Lefika: 850 (Child: 4-12, Adolescent: 13-25, Young Adult: 26-150, Mature Adult: 151-700, Elder: 701-850)
- Dragon: 850 (Child: 4-13, Adolescent: 14-25, Young Adult: 26-150, Mature Adult: 151-700, Elder: 701-850)
- Gryphon: 800 (Child: 4-12, Adolescent: 13-23, Young Adult: 24-150, Mature Adult: 151-680, Elder: 681-800)
- Rubasyn: 800 (Child: 3-11, Adolescent: 12-25, Young Adult: 26-150, Mature Adult: 151-680, Elder: 681-800)
- Taroot: 500 (Child: 5m-2, Adolescent: 2-10, Young Adult: 11-100, Mature Adult: 101-430, Elder: 431-500)
- Taroot (wild): 130 (Child: 3m-1, Adolescent: 2-6, Young Adult: 7-30, Mature Adult: 31-90, Elder: 91-130)
- Affiliation (religion) is which Cardinal culture a Ptithian follows. A Ptithian can be born/raised into an affiliation or take one up as their own choice. Ptithians can change affiliations during life depending on what they've experienced. Kingdoms are founded on a specific affiliation, so a Ptithian's birthplace commonly connects to the affiliation they are raised in (this is not required).
- Occupations in Ptitheros vary widely! Some jobs are part of the common variety and can be found in any large city, town, or little village, while others can be more specialized depending on the environment or kingdom. Being unemployed is also something common, as many individuals prefer to live on their own in the expansive wilderness. They work for themselves to survive instead of relying on economic strategies.
Designing a Character

Gaining a "MYO" is very easy in Ptitheros. They are called Character Tablets. These tablets can be purchased at the Caq Shop and are unlimited.

Submitting a Character
Once you finish your design or obtain one you can submit it. (Adopts, customs, etc, this is currently optional, but does net the reward and is recommended so others can learn a bit about your character).

Chronicle Access
Chronicle Access is for those who want to fully develop their character. It does not have to be done specifically for Chronicles.
This form is much longer. Again, Chronicle Access is completely optional! The only thing you are missing out on is Chronicles, absolutely nothing else.

- Occupation
- Native Location
- Native location is where your Ptithian was born. It can be a proper city, settlement,the space station, or somewhere out in the wilderness. A region name is required at the minimum.
- Residence
- Residence location is where your Ptithian currently lives.
- Personality
- What is a character without a personality? Argueably the most important thing, Ptitheros requires at least a trait list about a characater. 3 positive traits and 3 negative traits are recommened, but more can be added. A small personality summary is encouraged.
- Relationships
- A character must have at least 2 listed relationships. These connected characters do not have to be pre-existing, they can be story-specific to your Ptithian. Perhaps two close friends, their parents, a teacher, an enemy, etc. More listed relationships are encouraged. Relationships can be updated as your Ptithian experiences the world.
- Backstory
- We know that background requirements can be a hassle, but a character's history is important to who they are. 1 paragraph of backstory is required (5 sentences), but writing more is encouraged. Backstory can be updated as your Ptithian experiences the world.
