Caq
Caq is the currency used in Ptitheros. It is both the currency used in-world and by members of the ARPG. You can earn Caq in a variety of ways and spend it on items or within the Architects Aeon economy.
Each member's Caq balance is tied to their Discord profile on the Ptitheros Discord Server. When you leave the Discord, your account will freeze and you cannot access your Caq.
Earning Caq
- Weekly Income: As a member of the Discord you get a weekly income of Caq you can collect in the #caq-shop! There are income tiers depending on your role and supporter status.
- Submitting Art/Stories/Roleplays: You can create art, writing, and roleplays that are then turned in for a reward of Caq! There are different versions of how these submissions work, but the most popular is Free-Play. Read more at the Activities Guide
- Events: Ptitheros hosts a vareity of events, such as holidays and monthly quests. These can reward a set amount of Caq just for joining in!
- Commissions: Sell your own art and writing for profit! You can advertise your own stuff and Caq can be used as a means of pay. Members can transfer Caq between one another.
Caq can be claimed on the Discord. Each Caq earning method requires submission in different channels so please adhere to the rules found on each activity or event. Here are some common entry channels.
Quality Bonus / Can be earned on any entry / Adds a 50% multiplier.
For Art: fully rendered with high details and good background.
For Writing: complete story with a plot, structure, and detailed character action and dialouge.
For Roleplay: contains character development, polished writing, and proper interaction.
"Quick" Free Play / Can be applied to any entry / A "quick" entry can only be used in Free Play. Quick entries earn half the Caq but are designed so unfinished or discontinued entries can net a reward!
If Art: messy sketches, school doodles, memes, etc.
If Writing: jotted notes, unfinished TH profiles, story memes, etc.
If Roleplay: one-liners, shitposting, plot planning, etc.
Collaboration - Free Play allows for an unlimited amount of collaborators. If collaborating, please submit information on who did what. This will ensure that Caq distribution is correct per what work a member did. If no information is provided, Caq will automatically be split equally.

- For a seperate new character, just add on the worth based on their size and polish. For example, another character is a fullbody with color: add 450c
Physical Crafts have varying rewards because their size influences time and effort. For proper scoring, submit the length or height of your craft too, or something in the image as a point of reference (not your hand).

A Lore Driven story involves official Ptitheros history and connects itself to the deeper lore.
A Companion multiplier is applied if an approved companion is actively present in the story.

An outside character must not be present in the current roleplay and must be an official character (has an ID).

Specialty
- [Alternate-Universe]
- Anything outside of the Ptitheros world is an AU. AU's are completely allowed and character variations may be used, but they must be noted as an AU. AU work can be submitted for any Free Play entry. AU and canon character variations cannot interact unless otherwise specified.
- AUs include when you adapt your Ptithian into an anthro (furry) or human version.
- [Companion Only]
- Pieces revolving on the development of a companion (not a Talking Companion character) can be submitted. With the companion as the central and only character present, it'll have a -30% multiplier.
