COMMON
Common is the term used to describe what language has become used near globally on a planet. It has no set design, in the case of the founding worldbuilder, English is the Common of the world because that is what they write in.

DRACONIC
The oldest language of Ptitheros. It is what all present languages stemmed from due to it being the language all the Cardinals introduced during The Beginning. After the fall of Chaveri, Draconic became classified as a dead language. However, like Latin, Draconic is used for scientific labeling and is the language used for almost all spells and runes. For writing Draconic for a Ptitheros character or story, the Ptitheros project currently makes use of the opensource https://draconic.twilightrealm.com/

TUCRUSS
The old language of Tucruitora before most of the world was intricately interconnected. Tucruss is lexicon based language that evolved from Draconic. Tucruss can be found written in old documents, on the walls of monuments and ruins, within the Dome and Palace, and can rarely be heard on the street. It's usually only older Tucruitorians that speak it, since it has no purpose anymore due to Common.

BIR'TRUB
The (once) language of Sequ'Manko. Sequ'Manko was much more protective of their culture and past than most of the other kingdoms, so citizens speaking both Bir'trub and Common was extremely common, it was often used interchangeably. Bir'trub is an offshoot of Draconic and many of its words are pulled directly from it. Sequns and Mankians with families that see heritage as important still teach Bir'trub as a necessity, so hearing it in public is an easy way to pick one of the individuals from a crowd. https://lingojam.com/Birtrub

SWVAUN
The old language of Pab'Zuaan. Similar to Tucruss, Swvaun was only highly used back before the world was strongly connected through trade and travel. It had many similarities to Bir'trub due to proximity but fizzled out the fastest because the South Cardinal forced the population to take on Common very quickly to help Their kingdom prosper.

DREOLIC
Using the extra slits behind their nose, called "whistle slits" or "pack slits", taroots are able to communicate perfectly with their tion pack and are able to command them most of the time. The can also speak to other taroots in the same way, which has created a simple language they call "Dreolic" that no other creatures can understand.

VOID
The unique, dimension-defying language and scripture of the lindosts. Not much is know about this language, but some written phrases can be found on the inner murals of the Cardinal Temple.

Naming Characters

Ptithians can have names ranging from purely fantasy, some sci-fi names, and normal names. They can be named after places, animals, and words on Earth, however those names will not have an actual meaning behind them since Earth is not part of the Ptitheros universe.
