Aura is everything. Our power, our history, our future, is all led by a mysterious energy radiating from beyond the stars. Ptitheros was once a thriving world where the Architects guided creatures to greatness, but one day, the Architects vanished, leaving their kin to fend for themselves. Ptithians learned to cooperate with one another, melting their religions and cultures together to create kingdoms that dominate select regions. The wilderness remains in-charge, the dark beasts of the sky keep everything in check, and an equilibrium was reached soon enough for the planet to sustain itself without its Architects.
Since then, centuries have gone by. Kingdoms grew bigger, technology and magic has advanced, and society has moved forward at a great pace. Ptithians are no longer confined to the rules of gravity nor gods, they can see their beautiful planet from space and science has harnessed natural aura to a fair degree. But, despite all this progress, a mysterious threat looms on the horizon.
For what really happened to the Architects? Why did they dissapear, why has one decided to stay, will they ever come back? Was it /our/ fault for their abandonment, or does something almighty lurk in the darkness, pushing the gods away from their kin.
Want to participate in the overarching story of Ptitheros. World Chronicles are pieces of the world story where Ptithians can get involved and learn about the deeper, mysterious secrets of the planet and its gods.
LAUNCHED JANUARY 2022!
The majority of the Ptitheros community is active on DISCORD SERVER! It is where all media can be submitted for Caq and characters can be submitted. We also have lots of fun, active channels for general non-Ptitheros stuff. The Discord allows easy access to help from staff and a positive interactions between members.
All members begin with one Ptithian. You get to choose between making your own or adopting a pre-made character from the Sanctuary. Character creation is very open-end, you can create a variety of unique original designs and personality.
Members must own a "Character Tablet" to create one of the original species of Ptitheros, but you can create an unlimited number of dragon and gryphon characters without needing any tablets.
There are not stats in this ARPG, but powerful characters require upgrades that are not easy to get. Naturally, a full-size dragon with high-aura magic is more powerful than a small taroot with low-aura magic. There is no character leveling; this deters any sense of "grinding".
Geography - Ptitheros is a large world, so its map and setting details reflect that. The world is categorized into regions, biomes, capital cities, other settlements, then landmarks and points of interest. Regions have pages dedicated to displaying all these things.
Technology - Based on a solarpunk/biopunk aesthetic, Ptitheros technology is built from a mixture of natural materials, minimal metal, and captured aura. Ptitheros is highly open-world and is intentionally designed to allow members to bring their own creativity to the community. With so much variety, character design and development can go in many directions.
If something does not exist in Ptitheros yet, you can make it! Landmarks, spells, animals, guilds, etc. You can send in your idea to staff and get it approved for use!
Toyhouse is used as a hub to hold characters, host roleplays, information, and large events.

Guidelines
- Be respectful!
- Offensive content such as pornographic material, homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, etc, is not allowed.
- Ptitheros contains closed species. You cannot make these species for free and must obtain one through official means.
- You must be 13 years or older to participate. If you are found to be lying about your age you will be banned. This ensures a certain level of maturity and reading level among members.
- You cannot create off-shoots of Ptitheros content without permission. This extends to guild groups, Discord servers, DA groups, TH worlds, and more.
- Ptitheros content cannot be used for commercial work.
- Do not claim any Ptitheros content or species as your own.
- When posting your Ptitheros art or writing, you must use the #ptitheros hashtag or provide a link to the Ptitheros Toyhouse so others can find their way to the world if they are interested. Instagram, Twitter, Toyhouse, and Deviantart permits tags.
- Character ownership changes must be sent through #masterlist or else they are illegitimate.
- Do not sell or trade to users on the Blacklist or Greylist.
- Admins may revoke your closed species Ptithians rights if you become blacklisted. (Removes species rights, not design, unless you received it in a free event. Character must be changed to a different species.)
- There is a 2-week cooldown before a Ptithian can be advertised, traded, or sold.
- Co-owning a Ptithian is permitted but be sure to only co-own with someone you have good communication with. If you have troubles with your co-owner it is not the Ptitheros staff's job to sort it out.
Adopts, Customs & Tickets
- If purchasing a Ptithian using art payment: you will have 1.5 months to complete your offers. All art must be emailed or transferred over Toyhou.se before you can receive the Ptithian. Not completing the art in time will result in your offer becoming invalid, no matter if you already finished some art, and the adopt will go back up. (Exceptions granted by admins.)
- If purchasing a Ptithian using money or DA points: you will have 48 hours to send the money to the designer. After payment confirmation is sent the designer will email or transfer the character to you. Failure to pay on time will result in the adopt going back up.
- If paying through Paypal, use Goods and Services.
- Customs can only be purchased through admins and guest artists. MU and MY traits are limited to customs by the owner.
- Customs received for trades or gifts can only have base level Character Tablet traits. Any extra traits an item must be used.
- Customs require trait tokens to add more than the base traits. Or can be purchased during the initial custom purchase.
- Character Tablets can be purchased from the Caq Shop.
- Character Tablets can only be sold for as much as they were purchased for. Tablets bought with Caq cannot be sold for real money.
Characters
- Follow the Design Guidelines, seriously!
- All characters may have minor altercations made to their design at any time so long as traits and recognizable features remain the same.
- Characters cannot have any offensive content on their design.
- Make sure you purchase the traits and abilities you want to include on your character before submitting it. (This includes things like a high-aura mage or morshin heritage.)
- Get them approved! Submit them to #design-approval and await a codename and ID number to be assigned to them.
Discord Server
- React to the #welcome channel message as proof you read the rules. This will unlock the entire server!
- Use the correct channels for content.
- Do not get angry at MEE6 or other bots if they do something wrong. The bot is edited and set up for the community's benefit. Just politely DM an admin about the issue.
- Impersonation of an admin will get you banned.
Roleplay
- Do not roleplay pornographic scenes, self-harm, or offensive content in public forums. Ptitheros is 13+ but please, nothing super intense should be shown to the whole community.
- Respect others and how they want their character to be treated. Roleplay should be a cooperative, fun experience.
- Do not god-mod or play overpowered characters.
Misc.
- Ptitheros is all about the lore and stories it contains. Because of this, taking inspiration from our species is okay; we do not own winged lions nor skull-faced beasts. All we ask is you do not use the species name and lore on unofficial designs.
- Members are not allowed to harass people who make "rip-offs". Members who do this will recieve a strike.
- If you see a "rip-off" you can report it to staff and we will determine if we need to say anything. Typically we will only step in if the rip-off is a direct copy (like, direct direct copy) of our creatures or it is using the "Ptitheros" title.
- If you own an official Ptithian and wish to remove it from the species, you can message staff and we will help you properly do so. Doing this will allow you to keep the character as is, but it will lose access to the lore and species label.

Ptitheros is a multi-faceted project with many talented artists and writers working hard to bring you the lore, events, and adopts the community wants. Treat all staff members with respect and you will recieve respect in return.
