You can earn Caq, items, and character upgrades by doing prompts!

When submitting any activity, be sure to list your reward! The amount of Caq depends on the amount of effort you put into a piece. By doing your own calculation, you put your own value on your work and allow admins an easier time giving out rewards.

Some activities have item rolls. They may be guaranteed or they may require a minimum Caq reward to earn a spin!

Freeplay

If you're just looking to create content with your character and gain a little money at the same time, look no further than the ARPG's freeplay feature.

The freeplay feature allows you to submit any kind of art, writing, or roleplay in return for a reward. Any level of time and effort can go into freeplay submissions and the reward will reflect it. WIPs can be submitted with a x0.5 limiter and extra-high quality pieces can be submitted to get a x2.0 multiplier.

Submitting Art
Sketches, Lineart, Colored, Renders, Scenery, 3D models, Patterns, Plushies, Etc.

• When submitting art, please provide a file or direct image link hosted on a safe website. We recommend Toyhouse or Deviantart.
• Art has to correctly display species anatomy.
• If multiple people worked on a piece, credit them for what parts they did.

Submitting Writing
Multi-chapter stories, short stories, one-shots, headcannon lists, poetry, riddles, etc.

• When submitting writing, please host it on a safe website. Such as Google Docs, Deviantart Journals, Toyhouse Literatures, etc. Staff will not download text files or documents. PDFs are only allowed if you cannot use any of the other options.
• If the writing pertains to lore, it must be accurate. Be sure to read Ptitheros History if you intend to write detailed stories about it.
• If multiple people worked on a story, credit them for wordcounts.

Submitting Roleplay
Group roleplays, 1x1 roleplays, campaigns, etc.

• When submitting roleplays, use a similar format to writings. Host it on a safe website such as Google Docs, Deviantart Journals, Toyhouse Literatures, etc. This may involve copy & pasting messages into a new document if the roleplay was done on Discord or a forum.
• Because roleplays involve at least two people, separate wordcounts for each user needs to be listed.

These prompts are to help you find ideas for what the draw, write or roleplay about! They are simplistic and can be expanded upon and twisted to fit your needs.

Adventures

If you're looking to involve your character in some pre-made lore, you can use Adventure Prompts. Adventure Prompts are stories written by admins. They are like mini campaigns. You can use the steps as places to put your character in the story.

Adventure Prompts use the same rules as Freeplay. You can submit almost anything you want (see Art, Writing, and Roleplay lists above) but because it ties into premade story lore you get an automatic 30% extra Caq!

Members can create Adventure Prompts too. The stories have to be interesting and fit into Ptitheros lore. They can be a minimum of 3 parts.

Character Booklets

Your ptithian's booklet does not have to be a book! It is a combination of any highlights from their life! This can be shown in art, writing, etc. Any piece of media that you create that is an important point in your character's story can be submitted here! If you do submit art, be sure to include a little blurb explaining the highlight.

All life is connected. The aura of each world is woven into the very flesh and blood of every creature, no matter how big or small. New Ptithians come into this world, their soul now entwined to the Global Aura and their fate is sealed into the very magic carved into the rock of the planet. Each Ptithian is unique, they will take a journey of a lifetime starting at birth/hatching and can achieve great things from then on.

Relationship Story

Ptitheros prides itself on character development over anything else. Which is why the typical “ARPG breeding” feature is locked behind development, not a paywall or item. Characters are expected to have actual effort put into their relationship, not paired together to get a “preferred trait output”. If users are caught pairing and breaking apart relationships just to breed rarer characters, both users will be banned from doing this prompt.

These story prompts can be done with or without the intention of getting a Breeding Tablet. You are awarded for the prompts anyway with Caq and sometimes items.

All pairings and orientations (of consenting, mature adults) are allowed in Ptitheros. Poly relationships and queerplatonic relations for characters on the asexual spectrum are also allowed for Relationship Story prompts.

Breeding Tablets

• Breeding tablets allow you to create an official child between two characters. The created cub/joey/hatchling/pup will be added under the parents on the breeding database.
• These tablets are listed in the shop and are added to the user's inventory. If two different people own the parents, the tablet will be added to the inventory of whichever user will be submitting the child design.
• Currently, only main species (dragons, gryphons, lefikas, rubasyns, taroots, hybrids and morshins of such) can be bred. As more playable species become available through events, expansion including them will be looked into. (automatons, windiage, scalaces, spirits, vindiago, and lindosts cannot be bred).
• Breeding tablets are only for biological children. (Adoptions do not require special tablets because they are not directly related via the database.)
• Breeding tablets cannot be purchased. To get a breeding tablet, you have to create 2 pieces of art or writing about the couple and submit the pieces in #channel-name. Once approved, a [check mark] will be added and a breeding tablet awarded with a set of rolled traits. These traits are attached to the breeding tablet via a number code that the designer provides when submitting the new design.

Draw the Character Above You

Everyone loves gift art and many also love a little contest! The Draw-The-Character-Above activity lets you draw the character in the most recent message in the Discord channel.

You'll receive Caq for your art and you get to attach what character you want drawn by the next person.

To ensure multiple people don't draw the next character, the next artist will "claim" the slot by replying with "claiming" (or a variation).

After claiming, the artist has 1 week (7 days) to send the art and provide a character for the next round. After a week, the claim will be forfeited and someone new can claim.

Beast Curses

Beast curses are unique aura curses that require climbing a ladder of prompts that reward the curse when all prompts are submitted. Most are only available during Harvenluna (Halloween).
