Characters

The Continuum (Divine)

The Continuum consists of dieties and their culturally important spirits. These characters are the most powerful and weild the most aura. On Ptitheros, the Architects include Edenlline, Cymer, Meldr'uno, and Swa Veduro. Players cannot create Architects or spirits.

The Shadows (Lindosts)

Lindosts are dark, dangerous creatures from the Lindoss dimension. They can jump through dimensions, infiltrate others' minds, induce nightmares, melt into the shadows, and are overall not trustworthy. They are crucial to the survival of Ptitheros and are respected due to this as the alpha species.

The Beyond (Spirits)

The Beyond is any dimension handled specifically by Ptitheros Architects, including Babylua, Sallenin, the Hourglass, and more minor worlds. Most entities from these realms can be classified as spirits of those who were once living Ptithians.

The Unique (Alts)

Ptithians from the alt-species list are found here. Playable, rare species choices such as ancestral recalls, jessels, automatons, and windiage.

Lefikas

Lefikas have a feline-like appearance, large feathered wings, strong bodies, and a historically matriarchal culture in their origin region. They are able to shift their bodies into stone as their main magic but can learn other powers. They are adapted best to arid climates but can live anywhere. (Includes lefika morshins).

Rubasyns

Rubasyns have a raptorial body-frame, powerful hind legs, a short fur coat, dexterous hands, and ribbons growing off of different areas of their body. Some can harness elemental magic when gifted a special enchanted bell. Like gryphons, they were created by Edenlline out of spite, but have since broken away from Her to carve their own history. (Includes rubasyn morshins).

Taroots

Taroots are born from a smaller species called the tion due to an influx of magic during gestation. They have a canine body frame, skulls as heads, and can often have strong genetic magic capabilities. Taroots as a species and how they are born is quite a mystery to Ptithians still. Due to their rarity, their place in society is often questionable and many never leave the wilderness they grew up in. (Includes taroot morshins).

Dragons

Dragons hail from all corners of the world. Different types were originally kin to different Cardinals, resulting in the large variety of bodytypes and features present today. Dragons are naturally average-aura weilders and live in all climates. (Includes dragon morshins).

Gryphons

Gryphons come in a wide variety in Ptitheros. Some have the classic mammal/avian body split, some are a solid looking creature, some even resemble other creatures. They hail from the north, a creation of Edenlline. They are thought to be the most skilled fliers and are naturally average-aura creatures. (Includes gryphon morshins).

Hybrids

Less common than morshins, hybrids are Ptithians who's parents are both purebloods/very close to purebloods of different species. Hybrids are often easily disconcernable as a mixture of both their parent species because there is no generational trait dilution. They are called hybrids or mutts. Exact quarter mixes are also called hybrids.

Valid Non-Canon

Ptitheros allows for other original species from other universes to merge into Ptitheros. A valid noncanon character has species lore that exists in a different universe, but the character has been set in Ptitheros instead. Ptitheros serves as an AU. This tag also applies to hybrids/mixes between Ptitheros CS and a non-Ptitheros original species. For example, nectar wyverns, hoodwings; hybrid example, archeonoptrex/lefika.

Companions

These characters are companions and pets to Ptithians. There are a bunch of companion species to choose from. Companions do not have traits and follow a loose set of appearance guidlines. They can have Adornments and unique varities may be awarded during events.
