Sometimes his friends joke he's like a vampire, with his love of the night and charismatic personality. Lelantos isn't one, but he doesn't mind if others think that about him. He just happens to be a lion with a love of using his words wisely and staying up underneath the moon instead of the sun.

He's an impressive fellow when it comes to charm - he can weave a story and make friends with ease. Still, there's something about him that always seems a bit suspicious. Even when he's just doing his normal things, and not plotting any surprises, he still gives off an aura of sorts that makes folks want to keep an eye on him. Thankfully, he's also decent at not being seen. Lelantos blends into the night with his dark fur and happily will sneak away, even while on patrol in the ruins with his fellow lions - much to the frustration of others.

History

Lelantos grew up in his early life with his two best friends, Delia and Ganien. He was always willing to follow them, agree with Delia's plans and smile along with Ganien's optimism. The three were town guards, and they fought and protected the Moonrise kingdom to the best of their ability. Lelantos could sneak better than anyone else, and would often scout ahead for the other two of his friends.

Eventually, though, the trio wandered away from their life as guards. They headed south, seeking new adventure. Lelantos was quite excited to see what else could be out there, although he didn't quite show it. Instead, he laughed at Ganien's jokes and listened to Delia's plans as they traveled through the desert, and the dark forest, all the way to the savannah.

There, the group met a bunch of other lions, that claimed to be fighting against monsters in the ruins. Lelantos was interested at once, and Ganien was, too. The two convinced Delia to stay, and Lelantos fit right in with the other lions. He was a smooth talker, and made new friends easily. And he decided that he would always look out for his two best friends, in this brand new place.
