Personality

Diomedes is a peaceful, cheerful lion. He's come into this world just recently, and everything in it is so new and beautiful. He loves everything he sees, but he also gets down quite easily upon seeing the darker aspects of the land. When someone gets hurt, he's desperate to help, to try and makes things better. He's a healer at heart, someone who wants to help in every situation.

It's odd, then, that he doesn't often ask for help himself. He feels bad trying to get the attention of others when he has a problem, and will try to solve it on his own. Dio knows that he should be more willing to accept things from others. It's something he'll need to work on as he grows older. There's a lot of life still ahead - and this kind hearted, furry friend is probably set to make a lot of friends on his own while out and about.

History

There's not much history to speak of so far in Diomedes' life. He and his sibling, Eirene, were born within the regiment just recently. His parents, Okeanos and Psyche, are kind lions, and he spends a lot of his time following one or the other around, though he prefers to look around in Okeanos' crafting room than Psyche's messy, weapon-filled den.

He's heard that Psyche, his mother, and several other lions in the Regiment came from some other land called the realm of the Trinity Tree. Dio hasn't been there - and he doesn't think he ever will. This place is fascinating enough.

Recently, he's taken to watching various lions, and seeing what they do in their lives. Radha, the medic of the group, is very cool, in his eyes. Diomedes, when not following his mother or his father, or playing with his sister Eirene, will hang out in the medicine den and try to learn the names of all the plants. Slowly, he's learning them, and he finds that he likes it there, even if seeing someone hurt brings him down a bit. Dio thinks that some day, in the future, he'd like to become a medic as well, and help as best he can.
