Okeanos is an artist at heart. There was no other role for him in the Regiment besides as an Artisan - this lion lives by creating things. His head is full of ideas and his paws are always working. Okeanos thinks that the place gets a little brighter when he hangs up little trinkets around the camp, or makes something to celebrate a special occasion.

He'll often have things to say and lessons to leach lions that are very valuable and helpful - the main issue is pulling him away from his work long enough to get him to talk. But he's always willing to teach someone about his craft, and offer a friendly smile and a place to talk about life. Indeed, perhaps he's a bit too passive - Okeanos is easily taken advantage of, and often in his own head. It's a good think Psyche and Phaedra are there to look out for him, then.

History

Okeanos didn't hear the call for help fighting back monsters when Brontes sent it out. He was a bit busy doing his own thing. He and his sister, Phaedra, were adventurers together. Phaedra would do all the fighting, and Okeanos would talk with the friendly folks they came across and negotiate food and the like for themselves. It was only a few weeks after the Regiment was beginning to form that he and Phaedra came across the cliffside that housed Brontes and his lions.

Okeanos originally just wanted to stay and make some cool things before moving on, but Phaedra was enthralled by Brontes' idea. She always had loved a good fight, after all, and she ended up asking her brother if they could make a more permanent home with Starheart's Regiment. Okeanos could make things anywhere, so he gladly agreed.

Brontes assessed the two of them and gave Okeanos the job of crafting things for the group - and the orange furred lion couldn't believe he'd gotten such a perfect position. He gladly got to making things, and when Phaedra came home from a fight, the two would talk, long into the night.

Eventually, he met a fierce lion from a different land - Psyche. It wouldn't be long before the two had cubs of their own running around camp.
