Personality

Bayo doesn't need words to explain how he feels - he doesn't speak, anyway. The drums he carries on him always can express his thoughts well enough for the other three lions in his musical troupe. He takes a positive outlook on life, sees every challenge as a brand new adventure, and gladly makes up new drum patterns to cheer on his friends.

There's always a tune in Bayo's head, and more often than not, it's a cheerful one, one that speaks to the promise of a new quest, a new day, and a good story to be told. He's not without his flaws, however - this fellow is quite prone to taking things too unseriously - he'll dramatically jump about and mime how he feels about things, even during very sad moments. All it usually takes, though, is a nudge from one of his musical friends to get him back towards the right track.

History

Bayo's been with his friends, wandering, as long as he can remember. Not everyone was there at first, though. In the beginning it was just three of them in their own little band of sorts. They journeyed across the world and played songs for whomever they came across. One day, however, they visited the icy northern region of Silvarum, and met the fourth member of their party - a snowy lion named Gereon.

Everyone got along well together with their shared love of music, and when they didn't explore the land to perform, they practiced dueling each other. Bayo had a windy magic all his own, and was delighted to discover that the other three lions also knew magic, as well. They were his family, his best friends, his everything, and this came in handy whenever they got in trouble. Together, these lions did everything better than they could alone.

Eventually, the group came across Brontes, and his fighting lions that wanted to drive back the monsters in the Ruins. Bayo saw a great opportunity for making up new songs, new stories, using these battles as a reference, and the others agreed. They joined up then and there, and have stayed ever since.
