All of these characters exist in an AU ahead of the books, about 10 years since the War of Sandwing Succession. Canon events are taught in history classes. The invention of ships connected the continents of Pyrrhia and Pantala, bringing about an era of trade and prosperity for all dragons. The Kingdoms are at peace, but there are still some underlying tensions between tribes. In this AU, dragons age the same as humans.Â
