Initially unsure what to make of Michi, especially due to their ties with Hazel, who had decided to deflect from the game. But as they came to terms with why Hazel acted the way he did...Holly feels a sense of guilt for 'killing' Hazel.
Post-game, Holly quietly vows to keep an eye on them, perhaps because of their shared struggles with knowing someone who lost their memories. One of the very few that can get them to show any level of 'true' emotions, rather than 'mask' they generally show around most folks.
Sumi looked out for Obai during the first half the game, especially due to how Obai respected them. In the end, when Sumi was found guilty of murder, they knew that before they left, they'd do whatever they could to let at the least Obai know of the truth of this game -- and wished that the two of them were not here under such circumstances.
Post game, they still find themselves looking out for Michi, but often get puzzled as to why.
During DRcade, August found Obai a curious person, but after Obai catches on to his connections to some of the others in the game, August decides to put his trust in him. If it wasn't for his death not long after, he was committed to working together with Obai to understand more of the game's unusual set up...
Post game, as Missile, he generally keeps to himself. However, Michi's efforts to hang out with him are appreciated - even if he can't always remember when their Fortnite (tm) nights are held on. Or what the game is, for that matter.
As Obai, Michi always found August's confidence interesting and something he found inspiration in, especially in how easily he decked Marisol in the face. Michi planned on working with August and learning more about his information before the other's untimely demise. Post-game, Michi makes sure to pick Missile's brain whenever he gets the chance to and often asks him for help in hacking. And now he has a buddy to play Fortnite (tm) with! He doesn't mind if Missile doesn't remember - it's the thought that counts.
After 'dying' in DRcade, and learning that the game is set to unfairly bring others to their end, they use Obai's talent of 'talking with ghosts' to hide the fact that they're a) still alive and b) working to hack the game to save as many people as they can.
After DRcade2's events, Michi is, alongside Hazel, the one other person that Nikola wishes to keep safe the most, given their young age and unfair treatment by the organization.
Though the two of them had a rocky start due to Kenji's temper, he realizes that Obai desperately needs someone to ground him, and ends up taking that role for the rest of the game. Post game, Kenji makes the efforts to check up on him every now and then, though he never fully admits his care for him as being the reason.
Michi cares about Kenji, even with his temper and general attitude. For some reason, he really believed that the other had an interest in his ghost hunting. Post game, he enjoys when Kenji visits, wanting to go out and get food or drinks with him! He deserves a break!
Marisol's feelings on Obai were fairly neutral at best. She wondered just why someone like him was in the game...but she never ends up finding that out before her memories are wiped.
Post game, as Peony, she still holds little opinion on him, if any at all. Nikola sure talks about him a lot, though...
Obai never had any feeling on Marisol. They rarely interacted, but seeing how rude she was to August, his opinion has shifted towards a negative. He wonders if he never sees her because of Nikola
Nikola trusts Hazel's grandparents, and respected their decision not to inherit their fortune to the company upon their deaths. Because of this, in post-game, they've taken Hazel under their wing, and vows to give Hazel the normal life that his grandparents would have wanted.
Before losing his memories, Nikola was an alright person, no one particularly special to him. He respected them enough to at least tone down the humor sometimes though -- a feat in and of itself.
Post-game, he views Nikola as a parental figure, and is generally unaware of the greater scheme of things due to his lack of memories. With time though, as he remembers? Who's to say...
At first, though Velour couldn't wrap around Yuuta's line of thinking, he admired them for their ability to play the parts that they were given. And though Velour still looks to Yuuta whenever he's unsure about something in regards to the game (after all, Velour absolutely needs someone to reign in his 'big brained' theories)...
You know, Yuuta and him couldn't be more different, could they?
There's so many things Yuuta has that Velour, in hindsight, always had wished for. And at the same time, there are things Yuuta doesn't have that Velour has, even if some of that was only for a short time. If Velour was someone who did things without ever thinking about his life....well, Yuuta had always been thinking for themself, haven't they? Even their idea of how the Hunter should operate couldn't be more different.
And yet, Velour can't be upset at them. And in the end, if there was anything he wanted from Yuuta...
It's their acceptance that their aunt truly, dearly, cares about them. And if he has to, Velour's willing to do whatever he can to prove it to them.
Based on how they first met, and what Velour has done so far, Yuuta is a bit intimidated by Velour. It seemed like their temperaments were just too different to mesh well together. Velour was a mystery Yuuta didn't originally have much motivation to figure out...but after learning a bit more about him, who knows?
While originally upset that they were the one who set this game up, he realizes that they've been fooled just as much as he was, and has a renewed trust in them. Together, he hopes he can stop some of the rogue members of the Organization, even volunteering to play some of the 'despair side' games in order to gather intel.
Nikola sees Kenji as an invaluable member of the Organization, and appreciates his company. He's a jack of all trades kind of guy after all - Nikola tries not to give him too unusual requests, but sometimes it it is what it is, you know? Of everyone, Nikola spends the most time discussing the logistical side of things, such as how to strategize and have others within the organization seek out rogue Organization members.
Over the course of DRcade2, Lux became surprisingly close to Hazel, providing him the ability to speak about his worries. They care about him a lot, and even are blinded temporarily by their own feelings when approaching the mystery of who murdered Hazel in the game.
Post-game, Lux still tries to keep in touch with him, though given the fact that he doesn't remember the game's events, is taking their friendship slowly.
At first, Lux is an annoyance to Hazel -- but when his usually morbid humor doesn't scare Lux off, he's taken such off guard that he starts opening up to them.
By the time that the Fall Arc starts in DRcade2, he sees Lux as one of his very few, but very close, friends, and even allows Lux to proclaim themself as his 'wingman' when discussing his feelings towards his crush. (it's still cheesy though, he'll say.)
Unfortunately, however, Hazel loses his memories some time after, bringing their friendship back to square one. Still, there are times where, during especially silly banters between the two, it feels all too familiar to him...
Prior to his past self's 'death', Missile often confided in Holly, being one of the very few who he felt comfortable around. Their time somehow brought the two into a rather tight relationship...and even after losing his memories, Missile can tell that something had gone on between the two of them.
That said, as he doesn't really remember what that something is...perhaps to avoid making Holly more hurt, he keeps his distance from Holly.
Holly knew Missile prior to him 'dying' in DRcade2 - the two of them had been dating for some time, and was one of the very first people that Holly could soften up around. Holly knew that Missile had been through a lot as well, and rather admired his somewhat-unhinged desire to take revenge on Peony.
However, with Missile unable to recall their past, and thus their time together, Holly isn't sure how to navigate things from here - it's VERY complicated, to say the least.
Mika is one of the very, very, very few people that Ivory can admit to disliking, even hating, due to how she treated the demons. He was more than willing to kill her when the time came to it -- and only stopped himself out of the fear that, should he do so, he'd become no better than her.
(Even more scary to him, however, is the fact that, if Mika had come in contact with him much sooner, he may have worked with her more amicably...)
Mika was VERY good at her job, and even enjoyed it--so obviously, she holds some resentment towards Ivory for upending the whole thing. She holds no regret for what she's done to demons, and thinks Ivory is making a grave mistake in allowing them to roam free.
She is struggling now to find a purpose.
Though at first reaching out only to gather information, Ivory slowly becomes friends with Natsumi, and puts a significant amount of trust in her. She's one of the few friends that Ivory can comfortably drop any pretenses around, and appreciates how much Natsumi looks out for him, even if it's hard for him to express it at times.
By the time the Amnesia Incidents have resolved, Ivory considers Natsumi a dear friend -- and because of that, has realized that maybe, for their friend, he'll work harder to keep himself safe.
Natsumi's first impression of Ivory was... not the best, but Natsumi's own ability to read people let her see him for what he is: despite coming across as callous or even rude at times, he does care about other people, and that can clearly be seen through his actions. By the end of the Amnesia Incidents, Natsumi considers Ivory one of her best friends.
She often gives him blunt advice out of love, because a) she knows being subtle... doesn't always work with Ivory b) she cares about him and wants the best for him. This being said, she knows how to read the room, and when this sort of advice is and isn't wanted.
Mori is Mothman's creator, and he loves her dearly! He can tell that she cares a lot about Shou, and hopes to give him the same sort of love that Mori would have wanted to give to him.
Mori was at first nervous how Mothman would interact with Shou, but is now happy to have built him. She sees him just as much a family member as she would with Shou now, and trusts him a great deal with keeping Shou safe.
Mori, being Shou's older sister, is someone that Shou would do anything to protect. He also admires her work ethic, and hopes that when he gets older, he can get himself in the same field that Mori is in. The two of them also understand each other's social difficulties rather well -- with Shou often taking some of the social brunt whenever he can tell that Mori can't handle it for the day.
Shou is Mori's younger brother, and would do anything to make sure that he is loved and safe. She built Mothman.exe in hopes that he could help Shou have an easier time growing up, and sometimes wishes she had more time away from her work to be with him.
Missile once saw Nightshade as parental figure, since his died a fair bit ago. Thus, he trusted them a fair amount - enough that he was killed for it.
Post game, he questions why he and Nightshade share the same last name, but have no connection otherwise. Neither knows the answer for sure...
Nightshade watched over Missile at a fairly young age, and was torn about having to killing him in the game. However, their loyalty to the organization was too firm for them to realize that it was all a lie...
Post game, Nightshade ponders why they share a last name, despite not being blood-related. Had they simply adopted them? Or was there something more to why they viewed them as their son in the past?
Marimo is one of the few (read, many) who can get under Warden's skin, and yet, despite it all? Warden still manages to find them entertaining, and puts their trust in them when DRcade itself threatened to destroy the real world's infrastructure.
This trust still rings true several years later - even if Marimo is still a bit of a thorn in his side at times.
While they at first keep Claude at a slight distance to avoid him discovering their secret, Ivory, as per the usual, ends up doing the exact opposite. One mishap after another results in nights quietly explaining more and more about what they are -- and after Claude is quick to defend Ivory despite their monstrous appearance, they've come to trust Claude very much. This trust to confide in one another extends further when Claude learns of the rumored 'death' of Sunny -- in an effort to sympathize with him, Claude becomes one of the few to learn that, a few years back, Ivory had lost someone they cared about, too.
When Ivory isn't crashing Claude's place to patch up their wounds and recover as a whole, Ivory visits Claude to test the watches he's been crafting, curious about the sorts of things they can pull off.
While unaware of Aurelia's low self-esteem about her claws, Pollux enjoys her company and occasionally offers to cook with her when the chance comes up.
Mothman finds Meridi a pleasure to be around, even if the two have only met for a short time. Maybe next holidays, they'll meet again!
Being one of the first Chasms divers Ivory has met, Milana makes it undoubtedly clear that the sudden influx of supernatural monsters has put many on guard. And while he knows that she, among others, are doing it for her safety, he can't help but want to alleviate some of those fears, even if a little.
More recently, Milana (alongside Claude) have been experimenting on the watches that summon persona, and Ivory, always curious, has been actively helping out. While he does wonder if him absolutely not being human effects some of the test results, he figures having a niche case might help to broaden their research.
Ponzu primarily knows Milana through the chasms incident, and the two of them relate well due to similar work backgrounds. While he's begun to wonder what her workplace has been up to, he trusts at the least that Milana will make sure things don't veer into anything dangerous.
Kane is a breath of fresh air in the sea of stubborn, power hungry 'employees' that Ivory works with. His reckless, often naive approach to things reminds him a little about how he first handled an incident not unlike the chasms, and occasionally worries that Kane's much more innocent goal to 'save others' might hurt them down the line.
(Also, Kane is the only person who genuinely calls him 'Boss', which, while embarrassing to Ivory, also appreciates the respect.)
Carvus greatly cares about Castor since the other revived him, and has since referred to him affectionately as "Clanmate". As his designated hunting partner, Carvus craves the chaos that him and Castor cause together and is willing to do whatever he can to protect the other.
Carvus' inability to lie nor desire to ever do so is of huge comfort to Castor, who otherwise had to deal with lies and backstabs growing up. He sees no qualms in Carvus taking revenge on Meissa, seeing as he's done the same to others, and relates deeply to the anxieties that Ysingmyr presents to the both of them.
Like Carvus, he enjoys hunting a lot, and, despite Castor's cryptic choice in words, prefers to settle disputes head on rather than talking it out. This naturally lends well to the two of them becoming a bundle of chaos, unless someone with a level head gently leads them otherwise.
Sorrel has technically known Carvus for a long time, being the one to originally find him after Meissa abandoned them. However, due to a mix of insecurity as a parent, as well as his much weaker draconic side, Sorrel decides its better for Carvus to grow up with Argholdt, a friend of his.
However, after Sorrel recently finds out that Carvus believes that a: his father is dead and b: said father doesnt believe him to be his son to begin with, Sorrel immediately takes responsibility in figuring out why Argholdt would do such a thing. And, perhaps without realizing it, Sorrel has subtly taken on Argholdt's place in the interim, treating Carvus much like he would with his kids.
