Research teams have returned with their findings and adventurers return with their perilous tales laced among burned fur and scales from the searing heat of the magmatic city. 

A rubasyn discovered an ancient temple, wrought with crumbling pillars and stained glass windows that breached the air with bright red beams of light. A massive, gold-dipped battleax was once driven deep into the stone floor, left standing for eternity. What giant beast had wielded it? 

A group of three adventured through the streets, brushing their claws across the doomsday murals and contemplating what must have happened in the distant past.

A taroot took an easy route, only searching one of the tiny caves near the protected entrance and coming across a sealed pedestal encasing a small, red crystal. She was unable to get her hands on it. 

A sickly lefika went out on her own, finding homes that had been left in a hurry because of all the scattered items. Upon the floor was a diary of a previous occupant, the massive old journal was filled with writing in an unknown language, but it appears to have stopped abruptly. 

A taroot stayed on the beaten path, aimlessly watching the magma bubble just below the streets. She felt the ancient architecture begin to crumble to dust beneath her delicate weight. 

A rubasyn followed closely behind the taroot, stopping to inspect the giant scratch marks on the walls. Something big was ripped out of its home, by something even stronger than the colossal itself.

Those seeking spiritual guidance completed their travels, returning home with plenty on their mind to contemplate what it means to be alive and a creature residing on a god-abandoned world.

An old lefika visited the Temple of Onyx and reflected on her past decisions and whether she had truly made the best choices throughout her life and for her son.

 

A rubasyn traveled far from home to see the grand Cardinal Temple, where he wandered in awe through the river entrance, seeing the giant statues built into the monolithic mountains for the first time.
