Megalotis (Bat eared fox) (Thebaica Kritanta)

Thebica is the sister of Salmon Kritanta. The two twins are partners in crime, her job in the duo is to distract others while her brother sneaks in places to swipe all the things they want. Her means of distraction can range from simple flirting to causing queen Macrotermes Braminus to rampage through towns. Agile on her paws and a killer smile, things will always be interesting if she is involved.

Thebica grew up with her twin brother Salmon learning how to steal and create distractions from her parents. The family was a dream team when it came to swiping and con-ing others' with her often being the one to create distractions, after all a little kit 'lost' in the middle of the city crying would cause most Animalian to drop what they were doing and look her way. Although her parents often put her in danger, they were pros and could get out of almost any situation they found themselves in... Almost any.

She doesn't remember much about the last day she saw her parents. But she does remember waiting like normal for her parents at a town gate after she had done her part of a scheme. The plan was to leave as quickly as possible as soon as they showed up. However, when her brother shown up at the gate short of breath with blood and torn fur all over him, she knew something had gone terribly wrong. Without taking the time to catch his breath, Salmon grabbed her hand and started to run out of the city, dragging her along with him. She knew better than to fight him as if he was running, then there defiantly was a reason for it, and so allowing herself only a glance behind her, she ran along with him far away from the city and into a nearby quarry.

When she asked what had happened, Salmon simply stated that their parents had been caught and there was no way they would be getting out of this one. When she tried to see if they could go back and help them escape, Salmon would insist it was pointless. Not wanting to try to save them on her own, she finally gave in and agreed with Salmon. The two of them left the city for good, her brother making her vow on her life never to return.

From that point on, it was just the two of them. They both had learned a lot from their parents, allowing them to still make a decent living off of stealing using their old tricks. As they grew up, they had to rely less and less on their childish looks to get away with things started coming up with their own ways of distracting others and get what they were after. 

Thebica's soon found that her favorite method of distracting others was to anger a queen Macrotermes and let it rampage through a town. It would cause all the local towns folk to come out and try to fight for their lives and their town, causing them to be complteatly distracted as her brother looted the homes. She is never afraid of getting hurt in these fights as she is extremely agile and knows her way around the queens. When they eventually took the creature down (after it damaged a lot of the town), she would claim that she was just minding her own business when it attacked her, with most Animalian believing her. Any items that were stolen during the attack, she would suggest that perhaps the queen ate them or they got destroyed in the fight, helping to cover her and her brother's tracks.

On the days when her and her brother aren't stealing things, the two are often camping out, planning their next gig, or goofing off together. She loves to tease him when they are alone, but when around others, she becomes extremely serious and protective. Her favorite thing to do when it's just the two of them is to climb trees or go swimming as it reminds her of the good old days when they were kids.

1) if a player wishes to play as Thebica her call to adventure could consist of her running into Arwen (a Macrotermes exterminator) and him finding out about her and her brother's scheme. In exchange for not turning her in, she has to go out and try to make an honest living. Perhaps she and her brother could convince a group of gullible adventures to vouch for her and her brother after a bit of traveling.

2) Alternatively her brother could get captured and now she has to get a group of adventures to trust her so that they will help her break him out before he is either killed for his misdeeds or locked up in an inescapable prison.

If no call to adventure is heeded she will spend most of her life on the run with her brother before learning the truth behind her parent's disappearance (see Salomon's backstory for more info) and vowing to destroy the town. Going in guns blazing, she doesn't make it out alive.

main outfit| she wears a light yellow dress that drapes low on her right side but is pulled up to her hip on her left side and has a thing white fringe around its base and sleeves.  The dress also has long sleeves and a large white cuff around its neck. She has a pair of pants that go to her knees that are light green and white bandages on her lower legs. She wears black dress shoes and has two bronze ties/ bows around the base of her pants. On her right leg, she also wears a dagger.  She can often be found with a bonnet on that she will sometimes use as a zip line handle to make escapes with. The last part of her outfit is a dark brown bag that has a latch on it made out of two Macrotermes pincers. Her dress and pants are quite worn out and have a number of patches on them.

-pulling a queen Macroterm into a city to create a distraction
-flirting with someone to keep them distracted as she picks their pocket
-doing something to keep a town's attention as her brother swipes a bunch of things such as food or sides
-running away from a mob with her brother with their stolen good
-getting ready to fight others who have them surrounded
-picking a lock either to get out of a jail cell or to open a treasure
-swinging on a rope to run away from angry Animalian
-camping on the savannah at night with her brother and their spoils
-sweet-talking a group of travelers as her brother steals their goods
-admiring the loot her brother was able to snag on a job

This song relates to how her and her brother work when stealing stuff. The only thing off about the song is 'lovers' but other then that is pretty accurate.
