A blue morph Lagopus that is married to Albus. She is very independent and cares deeply for her kids. She isn't afraid to step forward and do what is needed, no matter how dirty her paws get in the process. Although she cares for her husband, it would be a stretch to say the two are in love. Their relationship is closer to that of good friends then lovers.

Eirwen grew up like many blue morph Lagopus being taught that they should stay away from white morphs at all costs because they hated them for what their ancestor did. So as a kid she would do her best to keep her head down and obey all the rules her parents had in place.

However as she got older she started to notice inconsistencies in her parents words. Sure, many white morphs would treat her differently based on her coat, but she also noticed the same went for how the blue morphs treated the white morphs. Where the blue morphs were treated as lessor, the white morphs were treated like monsters. This treatment of one another seemed to create a self-fulfilling prophecy pulling at both morphs and creating an endless cycle of mistreatment of one another.

Under her parent's care, she felt unable to act for herself as any time she attempted to point out their flaws or misjudgment, she would be shut down, and after a while of this, she stopped saying anything at all.

Everything changed though, when she got old enough to venture out on her own. Once she found her own place, she soon found that when she would state her thoughts or options, for the most part, others would listen. Any time others would start to argue her, she would see her parents in them and unwilling to go back to being shut down, she would fight tooth and nail to prove that her thoughts were important. She didn't claim that she was always right. No, she was fine with being proven wrong. She simply would not stand by being ignored or shut down.

Her vocalness, however got in her in trouble a number of times to the point where she was kicked out of her home town as well as a few others that did not want to deal with her obstinate behavior. She never felt that her arguments were ever one-sided as she would always try to see others views, but many Lagopus in power positions did no appreciate the ruckus she seemed to generate and so the easiest solution would be to kick her out.

But many would listen to her and found her thoughts interesting. A number of these Animalian would even follow when she got kicked out of a town, becoming a kind of follower of her and wanting to hear more.

Eventually, she ended up in Stormcrest with her small group of followers. She didn't expect there to be long, as being the home to the Lagopus morph legend, she expected everyone here to be stuck in their ways. However, what she found was something quite different. Sure there were a few towns folk who seemed closed to any new ideas on the matter, but most seemed open to at least listening to her.

It was as she was introducing herself to the town that she found out why this was the case. The town leader, Albus, had spent the last few years using more than just his words to change the town's folk. He had been using his actions and slowly convincing those around town to trust him and each other no matter what color of fur they had.

Being allowed to live in the town without being kicked out she found herself quickly falling for this white morph Lagopus. He would listen to her concerns and then use his actions to do his best to solve them. He seemed to really care and although he wasn't nearly as loud as her when it came to voicing her thoughts, his actions spoke volumes.

One day, seemingly out of the blue Albus proposed to her. Shocked at first she agreed and the two were soon united. However, as the years passed, she came to realize something. Although Albus cared for her, it was no more care then he had for the other towns folk. He would do his best to try to make her feel special, but he did that for everyone. He had really only married her because it had furthered his agenda or uniting the two morphs. A white and blue morph brought together in matrimony was a strong symbol to others that he truly believed in what he was fighting for. He hadn't married her for love but for politics.

But it hadn't been all one-sided, no. She had married him as well for other reasons. By being associated with him, she was given more chances to speak. She was married to a town leader so when she had something to say others had to listen, and she loved the attention. The two may not necessarily love one another, but they were perfect for each other.

Eventually, they had 2 kids together, a white and blue morph rounding out the perfect family. Alblus's spends most of his hours away from home doing his duties and helping his brother, leaving Eirwen to do most the work raising the children, and although she loves her kids, they do annoy her at times when they misbehave. She doesn't have as much time as she would like to talk about her cause, and most her energy is spent on her kids, but Albus still tries to find ways to let her speak in front of crowds when she is up for it.

The couple will be affectionate towards each other from time to time, but mostly its just superficial. They care for one another, but their relationship doesn't go much deeper than that, and either one would likely be just fine if the other were to disappear.

1) if a PC (player character) wishes to play as Erwen, her call to adventure could consist of her wanting to go off and spread her message to other cities like she had back in the day. She would either leave in the middle of the night, telling no one and leaving her family behind, or she could talk to Albus about it before. He would likely be upset but eventually supportive of the idea and promise to take care of the children (Douglas and Snezhinka) while she is gone.

2) Alternatively, she could have one of her children go missing and ventures out to go find them on her own as she feels like it were her fault that they disappeared.

If no call to adventure is heeded, her husband will be killed (or severely hurt) causing her to become the face of the attempted Lagopus unification. She will struggle to keep herself under control at times where others argue with her, however with her daughter Snezhinka at her side, the two will manage to keep the peace mostly within Stormcrest and keep the Lagopus games running even if its not as peaceful as it once was.

Main outfit| her main outfit consists of a golden plated skirt that sits about mid-stomach with a large band. Her shirt is long-sleeved and buttons up the middle with seams on either side to help make it a bit more form-fitting. She also wears a white jabot around her neck that has ruffles on the front and a golden broach pinned on it. The broach has a blue and white gem embedded into it. She can also be found wearing a small straw hat with a golden ribbon. Under her long skirt a pair of black, button up boots can be found.

She is a Lagopus and has golden Ancient eyes. Basic species reference sheet can be found here. Please look at this for common details people miss when drawing this species.

Ideas for what you could draw him doing:

-taking care of her children (trying to get Douglas to wear his cloths or reading Snezhinka a book)
-talking in front of a crowd of Animalian
-receiving a kiss from Albus on the forehead
-Her and Albus talking to each other late at night about issues
-her family watching her give a practice speech
-falling exhausted into bed

Song about how their love wasn't super deep, but the 'goodbye' refers more to his death
