Lagopus (Artic Fox) (Barents Irkutsk)

Basic Backstory

Barents is a leader of a small assassin group who have a goal of taking out the current Lagopus leader and replacing it with their own.  He will stop at nothing to achieve his goal as he believes it is the only way for his sister to be happy. He will do anything for her and will happily put his life on the line to make sure she can live her dream life.

Full Backstory

Barents parents were never really in his life. His mother died giving birth to his little sister( Tatyana ) and his father soon died after words. The doctor said it was because of some sickness that effected his heart, but he knew it was because he missed his wife so much that he died of a broken heart. After loosing both parents it was on Barents's shoulders from a young age to make enough sides so that he and his sister could survive. They didn't ever have very much as Barents young age a temper made it hard for him to hold down a job for very long, but he had his sister and that was enough for him.

He spent as much time with her as she could. Although she was quite around most Animalian she would talk for hours with him, well more to him. He would ask her about her daydreams and ideas and she would ramble on and on about her thoughts as he sat there quietly listening to her. Her ideas and dreams were always so imaginative and when she spoke about them he would also get lost in the ideas causing him to relax and be happy.

One day a parade was scheduled to go through the town and knowing that his sister would love all of the colorful floats so he found some time off and brought her to it. She was wide eyed the whole time, Barents had never seen her happier. Walking home Tayana stated that she was going to be the next Lagopus leader shocking Barents. He had thought that she would just like all the colors and not feel empower to do something where there was no chance of her succeeding in. 

As he listened to her chat about how she was going to accomplish her new dream the excitement in her voice quickly convinced Barents that he had to somehow help her achieve this new dream. The dream may be near impossible, but listening to how much it meant to Tayana he knew that he couldn't be the one to destroy her dreams and would do everything in his power to help her.

Over the next few years the two did worked tirelessly to make their name known to others and get in influential peoples good standing. Tatyana did a lot of the front work as her smile could make most people listen to her, it was Barents job to do the behind the scenes work. This often consisted of doing less savory things for people that Tatyana promised to help. 

Working for the black market didn't really bother Barents, in fact he often felt he could be more himself there as Animalian were expected to be rude and blunt when in this line of work. From smuggling drugs to roughing people up to sneaking in places he wasn't allowed to be in Barents would do it all if his sister said it needed to be done.

As they wandered from city to city gaining support they picked up a few trusted allies such as Amadeus and after a few years they were in prime position to win the upcoming election for Lagopus leader, a life time position.

However a Tatyana did not end up winning. Instead a white morph Lagopus named Cole Fallon took the spot leading Tatyana to lock herself away from the world. The one dream she had dared to chase after for a large part of her life was gone, now unattainable and her. Seeing her state of disrepair broke Barents heart. He had to convince her to eat most days and she rarely spoke making it so most their time spent together was just sitting in the dark in silence. One night he found himself crying for the first time in his life as he just couldn't take seeing his sister in this state and came up with a plan.

The vote had been close, they nearly won, they just needed a second chance and so he would make one. Gathering two other Animalian he knew would help him ( Amadeus and Samael ) he set out to take out Cole. If the current leader died then Tatyana would be able to try for the position again and this time she would surely win.

The group tried a few times to get close to Cole, but always failed. He was to well guarded and protected for them to be able to get close enough to even try anything but unwilling to give up on the mission and his sister Barents turned his attention to Cole's brother Albus. The two had a very tight connection and Cole wouldn't do anything without Albus's thoughts on it making it so Albus had just as much control over the Lagopus Animalian as Cole, so if Barents could take out Albus perhaps it would weaken Cole enough that he would resign or give Barents an opening to take him out.

He has to find the perfect time now to take out Albus, perhaps at the Lagopus triathlon...

Outfit

White Fighter Outfit | When navigating the arctic tundra it is often best to clothe oneself in white if they wish not to be seen. Every article of clothing in this outfit is white, he has a chook hat that covers his ears and the top of his head and wraps a set of two scarfs around his head, neck and snout to hide his grey fur. He has golden, yellow eyes and his white jacket has a tall collar, tail coats and long sleeves. His button-up undershirt and high-waisted pants are also snow white. His thick soled boots also are white but have a small silver clasp on the top of them to hold the shoe tight to his foot. Lastly a small white dagger can often be found in its white holster on his right leg.
