Spooky Happenings

It had been a strange few days looking at weird diets and fads online and testing them out to see if he could even commit to them. Some were just a type of fruit for each meal, some were restrictive and had no grains or whatnot, and then there was the fad he was trying today.

Being very, very apprehensive, the demon stared at the raw cut of beef he bought the other day. It had originally been to actually cook and make into a meal, but.. with this weird diet he looked up, there seemed to be some benefit to eating it raw.
It wasn't something he was used to for sure, but maybe he could get used to it? Ugh, he wasn't too sure about this. Veo tried putting it onto a plate, with it making a slapping sound that grossed him out completely. Then he tried to cut it into edible pieces and waited for the urge to take a bite.

It didn't come of course, so he closed his eyes and tried to raise the piece to his mouth. The texture was very strange and squishy, he could only compare it to a very muscly gummy. Bleh..

Spitting it out before he has to chew it any more, he quickly decides this isn't worth it. He at least tried, he thought. Maybe he'll just cook the meat like he originally wanted... and a bit later, with some herbs and a bit of oil, it was cooked to his liking.
It was a little hard to look at it still though, having tried to eat it raw before. But the aroma was unmistakable for a better version of whatever horror he tried to eat before. It was making him more hungry just by the smell in the room. Eventually eating it all up, he was glad he didn't sit through the raw version of it. Or at least more than one bite.
