Journey sighed, covering xyr face with xyr hands. "It was never about the winning or losing. I just like Uno, that's all."

Tide couldn't help but giggle at this, his face practically glowing a bright red. "Well, damn— for the motherfucker with the most luxurious bar in Hell, I would've thought you'd prefer... I don't know, blackjack or something fancy like that. But Uno? Interesting choice, okay..."

"It's not that luxurious yet! It's just... a normal tavern. I only have a few other employees— including you, Tide. If you see this workplace as luxurious, I'm honestly a little concerned for what your life was like. Anyways, I don't feel the need to flaunt my riches." Journey put down xyr card, officially starting the game mid-argument.

Reverie chuckled, putting her own card down. "It's not luxurious yet, sure, but we've all seen the blueprint plans you have for those expansions. You're going to tell me a huge indoor jacuzzi isn't luxurious?"

Journey shrugged, a nonchalant look on xyr face. "Well... you got me there. But back to my original point— even rich people can like Uno. It's a fun game!"

"Whatever you say, boss," Tide muttered. "I've only ever seen it topple friend groups to the ground."

The red demon nodded, gesturing with xyr free hand. "Exactly, it's a fun game!"

Hells, Rev needed to hang out with these two more often. Where else would she get such quality arguments? "Journey, I think you just like seeing the world burn."
