Greedy Bingo

When Journey's legendary indoor jacuzzi opened up, it was obviously a fight about who got to enter it first. After all, who wouldn't want to be the first person to enter a jacuzzi that's an entire room big? Everyone was crowded around the bar in Journey's tavern, trying to figure this mystery out in-between drinks.

"All I'm saying," started Francesca after a shot of whiskey, "is that I'm Journey's girlfriend, so that means I should get to go in it first."

Tide laughed into his cup of sparkling wine. "Literally all of us are at least friends with Journey! That's not going to get you any advantages. I say I should get to use it first, because I'm currently the Employee of the Year for this damn place. That's a pretty big flex, isn't it?"

"Well, I'll be the only person sober enough to get in there without drowning!" Reverie bragged, holding up her cup of water.

Fran giggled. "Oh, come on, it's not as if we're completely wasted. You're only not drinking alcohol because you have that kid to take care of, so don't act all mighty. You'd be downing this shit if you were given the chance."

Rev sighed. "...You're not wrong."

Just as she was about to come up with a rebuttal, Journey butted in. "Actually, I call dibs."

"Oh?" Rev's ears perked up. "And what makes you qualified to enter it first, huh?"

Journey sighed, pinching the bridge of xyr nose. "I'm the fucking owner of this place."
