Reverie could recall the day that Noah summoned her like it was yesterday.

The sun was just starting to rise as the young toddler made his way to the bus, his comforting bunny plush getting dragged alongside him on this exciting new adventure. It'd taken forever for his parents' loved ones to convince them that the daycare employees wouldn't try and poison him through the snacks they provided— though they forbade their son from eating anything from the daycare, anyways.

Just as he started to climb up the steps of the bus, however, he tripped and fell upwards— a typical injury for a child his age, but one he was utterly terrified of. What if germs infected the scrapes from the fall? His plush collapsed with him, cushioning him from most of the injuries. It took a few helping hands from the aids and other kids on the bus to get him up and to his seat, but he eventually managed through his teary eyes.

In a moment of true fear and desperation, he squeezed his plush and almost begged for someone to keep him safe, tears falling freely onto the plushie as if it was a tissue...

And that's how Reverie's first appearance on the mortal plane after centuries was on a neon yellow bus that she didn't even recognize. Despite how unfamiliar the environment was for both of them, however, Rev only had one thought on her mind as she looked at the small boy sitting besides her— this boy is mine now.
