Crow's Wisdom
If you managed to get on their good side, crows could be your best friend— but they could also be your worst enemy if you dared to trifle with them. They were wise birds, never one to forget a kind (or mean) face, and it was this trait that made Reverie determined to befriend her local flock of crows.
It was a slow process, sure, with plenty of birdseed and soft items for their nests involved, but... eventually, she'd gifted them enough items for them to trust her! She couldn't be happier with the flock of crows following her, with the black feathers found scattered in her garden, with the caws surrounding her as she roamed the outdoors...
To be entirely honest, the gifts from them were just a lucky side effect. Everything in this world was transactional, of course, but she'd only expected the gift of befriending a whole group of birds. That would've been more than enough for her, but despite that, they started bringing her gifts anyways. They were always small gifts, given the size of their beaks— clips, buttons, whatever shiny thing they found on the ground...
But despite that, those gifts started her only collection that she didn't contribute to, and for that, she'd be eternally proud of her new crow friends for their good style in trinkets.
