Does your pride/hero have any sort of magic ability? Why or why not? is it not something that exists for them- if so, what do they think of magic or is it something they'd want to have or does it scare them?

Day 5B - Sky

Ugh. What solution could there be, anyway? Magic, of course it had to be magic. Couldn't have just been the colossal monster's approach doing this, footsteps causing quakes that uprooted trees and disrupted water current, no, it had to be equipped with magic, too! Tamaya sighed. It would have been nice if, as part of her role as a hero, she'd been equipped with some of her own. How was she supposed to fight back like this? Bora wouldn't use his magic to intervene, even if he was working to help them now, nor would he offer her or Nahia powers of their own... So, what? Was she just supposed to deflect the magic with her shiny new gauntlets? Yeah, like that would work. It's not like the thing was casting Fireball or something, these weren't physical things you could just hit back at it like you were knocking a ball or a rock or something around with your friends! There were no beams of magic to hold up to a mirror and reflect back at the titan, nothing you could just, as Nahia put it, Uno reverse card like that. And this was all while the titan was still approaching! Gods only know what else the thing had up its metaphorical sleeve...
She didn't understand it. They wanted her to be a hero, but she was given no way to fight back against a creature who knows how many times her size, one which could use magic powers to shift the land and sea around them. Yeah, sure, okay, she'd get right on that! There was no way that would go wrong and end with her and everyone else dead, right?! Yeah, I know, let's pick some kid to be a hero before she can even process the concept of what she's being tasked with, and then do absolutely nothing to actually help her accomplish this task in any meaningful way! Brilliant plan!
Tamaya hated to admit it, but a part of her wanted to say, "Screw this, let's go back to your realm, they can handle things themselves." They clearly hadn't invested much time or effort into making sure she could do this job they insisted she take up, after all. So they should have been putting that energy elsewhere, like preparing themselves. And if they didn't? Well, too bad. Maybe they should have considered getting off their lazy butts and trying.
But... she couldn't do that. It was stupid, because she was surely going to die, and they would surely die with her, but she couldn't just leave them. It wasn't right. It wasn't right, and she hated that.
