Is this a few months late? Oops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Good thing this isn't an official event prompt!

B 01 - Aftermath

The sea crashed over the cliffside, foam splashing and scattering over the land's surface. Such abnormally tall waves, to reach this plateau, overlooking the world... it was expected, then, that Galiene was the one who stepped forth from the spray. They joined the other deities, gazing at the newly formed lake amidst the ever-shifting plains and forests and who knew what else below.
It was not a pleasant sort of gaze.
"More of them," they said, voice flat.
Bora nodded. "Disciples, two of them," he confirmed. "One... less expected than the other, admittedly, but two nonetheless." The smilodon glanced quickly at Mintovo, who fought back a smirk. A wise idea - Galiene was hardly one for such foolishness. "And a goddess."
"A goddess?" The lord of the seas gave him an incredulous look. "Chosen by?"
Bora simply shrugged. "I cannot say. Fate, perhaps. The creator, even. The circumstances of her selection are outside my range of knowledge, despite my position. But the power she radiates is undeniable. Her belief warps the very nature of reality, even outside of this realm."
Mintovo spoke up, now. "She can fly! Even with those wings, she shouldn't be able to. She's not like Timey-Wimey, the girl's got lion bones, heavy bones. It's like gravity just turns off for her, though, 'cause sure enough, she can fly, just like him! Crazy to see it in action."
"Do not speak of the god of time with such disrespectful names," Galiene chastised, shooting a glare at the god of ice. But then they stepped forward, watching more closely. The newcomers couldn't be seen, not from this distance, but that didn't seem to deter them. "If what you say of her powers is true, though, that is fascinating. I have no problem admitting that."
Bora hesitated now. But it was bound to come up eventually - Better to get it over with while the opportunity was before him. "I fear there is something you will have a problem with, however," he said.
Galiene closed their eyes tight and let out a long, deep exhale. Why did they have this feeling...? "The godling is back, isn't she?"
   "Not only that," Bora said.
They felt as if they might burst a blood vessel. "Of course, there's more. Always, always more," they growled. "What else, then?"
"The goddess has bonded to her," he said, "and with her abilities-"
"No. Enough," Galiene snapped, eyes opening to glare at Bora as they turned their head. "That's enough. I know what you're planning to say, and I don't want to hear it."
   "I knew you wouldn't."
They bared their fangs. "It will not come to pass. He was banished for a reason, and she was brought here for a reason. And that reason," they spat, "was not for her to join our ranks, nor to carry on that false god's bloodline."
"I understand that. But I don't think you'll have a say in how this story goes, Galiene," Bora said. "Not with things as they stand now."
They said nothing, only gave the smilodon a piercing look, and then strode back to the far side of the plateau. Another wave crashed over the edge, swallowing them up, and they were gone.
Mintovo flicked his tail and shuffled his wings. "Well," he said, licking at his paw and rubbing it against the side of his face, as though he really had nothing better to do than groom himself, "it could have gone worse."
Bora looked at his mentor with a tired expression, shook his head, and with a well-practiced leap, began his descent down the rocky incline.
