Your hero is like a fish out of water here... why don't you do something to make them feel at home?

Day 1A - Sky

The land... it was too steady. Not enough give, not enough sway. Tamaya felt as though her knees were locking up, stuck between the solid ground and the weight of her own body. She'd seen it from the distance, but she hadn't imagined it to be like... this.
It made her deeply uncomfortable. Stepping into this world... it was like a confirmation of her role. One she was quite sure she wasn't built for. Especially when she looked down and saw herself as she appeared now - All plain, all weak and normal and unremarkable. She was no hero.
But, if nothing else, it seemed she wasn't completely alone like this. For nearby was another lion, fur a similar shade of blue to her own. Less plain than hers, certainly, a little lighter and brighter, but... this one seemed to have no powers or weapons, either. If anything, she seemed a little lost, a little awestruck... and a little pecked-by-birds. As if she were new to this land, too.
And yet, by the way she trotted up and introduced herself - Nahia, her name was - she seemed to be comfortable with it. Or confident in herself, at least (aside from the way she insisted that this Bora fellow, whoever he might be, not be allowed to learn she was here). And that was somewhat relieving, despite the all-too-stiff ground beneath their paws.
And that, in its own way, was rectified quickly as well. Because Nahia's eyes lit up with excitement when she noticed the sea nearby, waves lapping at the shore - Peaceful, for now, though Tamaya knew it wouldn't stay that way for long, if what she'd been told was true. But in the meantime, when Nahia asked if she wanted to go swimming?
Tamaya was happy to say yes.
A brief reprieve, a break from her duties... Perhaps the currents would calm her nerves. And even if the sea couldn't, Nahia seemed capable of it herself, simply by the way she spoke and carried herself.
   They would stick together, then.
